KHI Design Group Inc., the design team of Andrea Ackermann and Leila Kharem, inherited the interior design firm of Karen Houghton Interiors, upon the namesakes’ retirement in 2016. With over 15 years of experience, Andrea & Leila have been providing clients with sophisticated interior design solutions to suit their homes and lives. They work closely with clients to create unique, personal interior

s which are comfortable, livable and sensitive to their lives and personalities. KHI’s design work has been published in several local publications including NY Spaces, 201 Magazine and Fairfield Look. They were the 2013 Westchester Home magazines winner for Best Dining Room. KHI was recently interviewed and provided design advice for a home design feature in the Journal News newspaper. Television credits include an episode of HGTV’s Property Brothers, where Andrea & Leila were the design leads for a home renovation. KHI has also been a participant in the Annual Red Cross Ball designing stunning tabletop designs as well as numerous NY & NJ showhouses.
