Mel's Craft Room Mel's Craft Room is all about crafts of any kind! Come on in and bring your creativity! Welcome… I've been creating bracelets, earrings and now onto sculptures.

While I provide many different types of crafts and art, I have been painting ceramics for nearly 40 years, since the age of 6. I am a former member of the Massasoit Ceramic League in Massachusetts and competed professionally for many years. I paint and sell many styles of ceramic and plaster as well as a huge supply of Christmas ornaments both completed and paint your own kits. The best job I ever had was at Tot's Tiny Treasures ceramic studio! In the Craft Room, I also draw, work with polymer clay (designing earrings, primarily). I've been enjoying creating my own designs with polymer for 20 years. Chainmaille is my latest passion, I've been practicing for about 3 years.

The home stretch! I took an order for 32 chain mail crosses. It’s an advanced weave and has challenged me at every turn. But I took the order just to prove to myself that I could do it. And here I am nearly complete. What a great feeling!

I’ve been experimenting for awhile on these great 3D prints. Different color combos, different media (wax rub on, acrylics, glitter). I finally came up with a couple of winning combos!
