Where did the year go? Seems like a week ago it was summer then all of a sudden "cold, snow, rain" and getting dark early! We went shopping today and I thought we were going to freeze before we got back in the car, give me summer back...please! Sometime this week I will be putting out some really nice dog figurines some as smll as 2" up to a good 6"-8". I also have some clowns for anyone who collects clowns. The clowns range fromabout 1"- 2" up to a Emmitt Kelly Doll (really nice and very collectable), som clowns in porcelain, pewter, ceramic, some musical and one hand painted on a nice size piece of beautiful quartz. Oh there is also a signed Emmitt Kelly Poster and posters and paintings of other clowns. Realy Nice!
We are planning on putting up the tree in the shop again this year. There are a lot of Victorian (style) items on the tree. I also have a Hershey chocolate, Hallmark collection and Victorian doll collection which will either go on the tree or under it in baskets.
If you get a chance drop in and see wht we are doing....we are always up to something ( always good). That's sall for now .

We are open from 10a.m. to 5p.m. sometimes 6 p.m. Upon entering a mask must be worn and our house sanitizer used. (we use it too). Right now we are moving things around and putting antiques out. We just set up a magnificent crystal case. Hope to see you soon!

The second day of Spring brings "sunshine". A little on the cold side but SUNSHINE. I'll take that any day I really have to get in the shop and start to prepare for the summer months and "Tourist". It has become almost impossible to know what the general public is interested in. I try to have a wide selection available either in the shop or the large barn that I have filled with antiques and collectibles. I would like to rotate some of the items in the shop but as soon as I do someone comes in and wants it. I have to do it anyways. First flooding, then 54 degree weather (a teasing taste of Spring), and now dropping temperatures. Yep, It's Michigan all right. It has me confused! What will tomorrow bring??? Sleet maybe? Who knows. All I want is for Spring to hurry up and get here. "THINK SPRING" While Mother Nature is playing us, we have been busy in the shop getting new things on the shelf. We also have been putting more things in the barn as we sell the items that were out there. It seems like there is always something to keep us busy, and that is good.

As Charlie Brown would say "Good Grief!", rain, rain, and more rain. We are up to our eyeballs in rain, well not really, but we do have a lake in our back yard. What can you do on a rainy day??? Go Antiquing, of course. And as an Antique Dealer what better time than to put new items on the shelf. Of course I could always do bookwork, UG!. Since I am all caught up on that, then my only alternative is to put new and exciting items on the shelves. We are also moving items out of the barn in order to get new down. Upstairs I have floor to celing boxes full (all inventoried so I do know what is in them). The middle is full of furniture. Sometimes, if you are looking for a specific item it is good to call ahead and tell me what you are looking for so we can get it down for you.
