š” Artisan Home Tour Stops No. 5 & No. 6
If you know me, you know that remodels are my love language.
Donāt get me wrongāI love a beautiful new build. But there is something special about walking through a home that has already lived a life, held memories, and served generations of a family⦠and then seeing what is possible when thoughtful design breathes new life into it.
These two remodels were among my favorite homes on the tour.
They celebrated the character and charm that older homes naturally possess while embracing smart design decisions that transformed how the spaces function today. Walls were removed. Spaces were expanded. Light was welcomed in. And what once was became something even better.
One of these homes was originally built in 1908. Think about that for a moment. More than a century of stories, holidays, milestones, and memories woven into its walls.
Thatās what inspires me.
The opportunity to honor a homeās history while helping it serve the next chapter of the familyās story.
Because great design isnāt always about starting over. Sometimes itās about seeing the potential in what already exists and creating a home that can continue to be loved for generations to come.
That idea never gets old. ā¤ļø
