In 1962, President Kennedy issued the first proclamation for Peace Officers Memorial Day and National Police Week to remember and honor law enforcement officers for their service and sacrifices. Peace Officers Memorial Day, which every year falls on May 15, specifically honors law enforcement officers killed or disabled in the line of duty.

This Peace Officers Memorial Day lands differently for the TCPD and Tell City community. We stand in unity to honor the ultimate sacrifice of our brave sister, Sgt. Heather Glenn. Sgt. Glenn will be among the 222 police officers being honored at the nation’s Capitol today.

We will hold all pre-ordered (unpaid) shirts until Saturday October 1st. If you have not picked up your order by October 1st, it will be placed on the sales floor for the general public at that time.
