Step inside a piece of Tell City history! ❤️

Did you know the Tell City Chair Gallery is also home to a dedicated museum—its own nonprofit entity—right inside the store?!

This custom exhibit was thoughtfully designed and customized by owner, operator, and museum curator Chris Cail. His passion for Tell City and the legacy of Tell City Chair Furniture is woven into every detail. From carefully selected artifacts and historic photos from his private collection to one-of-a-kind pieces, each part of this exhibit tells a story.

Many items have also been generously contributed by the Fenn Family, helping preserve and share this history for generations to come.

Take your time as you walk through this self-guided experience—you’ll find an incredible display honoring past employees of the chair company, pieced together with care and intention by Chris himself.

And as you make your way out, you’ll end in our gift shop featuring exclusive and meaningful items you won’t find anywhere else!
