Over the last ten years, I’ve made and sold more than 5,500 quilts. That’s a lot. That’s me quilting all day five days a week, and often on weekends. November and December, I’m a fabric-covered wraith who occasionally emerges, linty, to run to the post office. I haven’t had fewer than 40 orders in my queue for six years, and it’s usually more like 60. Sometimes it’s 75.
I’ve reached a point where I need to change it up. I’m going to retire my whole cloth designs and start focusing on the traditionally-pieced custom projects I’m passionate about but haven’t had time for. Over the last couple of weeks, I’ve been letting my Etsy shop sell out— the quilts I still have for sale won’t be relisted; instead, I’ll be slowly adding some really incredible one-of-a-kind pieced projects. I’m opening up my calendar for completely custom quilts, too, including clothing and memory quilts; I’m finishing up two pieces now that I am SO excited to share.
The listings I currently have for sale are the last ones of their kind. Coupon code THANKSINSTA is good for 15% off everything but the bed sizes (those have gotten so expensive to make that I’m not even making 15% on them, but that’s a whole other conversation). Thank you for your support and enthusiasm over the last ten years… I can’t wait to show you what’s coming next.
