We have been all over the map lately. Life, COVID, moving, holidays, does it ever settle down? Probably not. But here’s a fun room for you. I definitely need to touch up that half circle but I absolutely love where this is going! 🖤

🖤Vibe of a master bedroom. 🖤
🌲Biggest struggles in this room🌲Spending months and months searching for the perfect light without spending 20k of the budget. I finally decided to make a light out of unique scraps and a chandelier online. Labor and material all under $500. Big impact low cost. .. all while also making sure nobody died in the hanging process. (Dusty and Travis)
Dumpster diving for the perfect mirror, and all it’s pieces. We broke the first salvaged piece and I was heartbroken. Which actually worked out even more amazing. ( Jason and Quinten, and Dustys wood pieces everywhere).
And last but not least, the damn wall! That I did several times. I could have hired this out, and I probably should have, but again, budget was everything. The homeowner really really wanted the exact wall already seen on the tv show Stay Here. Which is amazing, but why use something that’s already been done? I was determined to changed his mind. I can laugh now but damn what a process. I should probably learn how to draw things out first. Might save some time. I’m more of a, wing it, type person. 😂🤦🏼‍♀️.
The list could go on and on about every single space. But I would have to say, those three were the most, out of the norm in my mind.
Scroll down to see some before and after photos, as well as during!

Here’s a little for you all!
So many details went into every space from start to finish. Even down to the smells of the rooms, and making sure they were set up as a on before allowing the project to feel “done”. Picking the amenities, helping decide logos, convincing them to keep the original name, the social media, cleaning up trails, nothing went unnoticed. My amazing friends (and all our children 😂) really came through on this entire property for me. If you would like to see some before and during photos scroll down a few posts.
I always think the best part of a project is deciding what it should look like, and doing it, hands on. But now Ive realized, my favorite part is just everything, like adding the details so the space actually comes to life! Seeing people’s reactions online to the homeowners new Airbnb and watching people amazed with what we were able to create for them is really rewarding. A lot of blood sweat and tears went into this, too many 20 hour days, neglecting the rest of the world to make someone else’s dream possible, all makes it worth it, watching their success. Not a lot of people wanted to take on what we did, and I was scared. A lot of people in my corner didn’t even think it was possible, esp with our budget. But we made it work, because we wanted to see what we could create, and I am super impressed! Every space, in two houses, and a giant yard, came out this special. This is just a silly tick tok but you get the idea! I took so many before and during photos and went straight into the rental process I never really thought about all the after photos I wanted. 😂😂🤦🏼‍♀️ I’m getting better at it though. 😬 promise!

The difference is crazy! First photo is how I currently have the room, second photo is how I originally set it up (kids room) Second two photos are how tenants left it for me each time. 😂😬🤦🏼‍♀️
The “vanity” is two dressers from , some fresh hardware, and scrap piece of wood until I find the perfect piece.

When working on the bunk house, we really needed a way to add an area for adults. Because whose going to trust three kids alone in a house right?! So, we sliced through the wall, added a door, and closed off another area. Crazy this room used to be a storage room for the garage and now it’s part of the house instead.
The home owner also wanted shiplap somewhere but without the farmhouse vibe. I think we nailed it. Nice big bedroom with the perfect little nook to get some work done while they crazies play in the other room.

Originally, we were supposed to build some sort of arch, and the homeowner knew he wanted it to say cabin from day one. Then we found this cool structure in the creek and put Dusty on dragging it out and putting it where it needed to be. Garrett at came out to take some measurements and make us this awesome sign.
So many different hands went into creating such a special space.

When your outdoor space really brings a whole project to life. Originally, this was supposed to be a one cabin remodel. Instead, we did two and made the yard a space that brought them both together. 🖤
