The new Black Copper Marans pullets have started laying! 🤎🐣 also all the dogs had to have their moment to shine… I love my photo bombers 🐶

Pullet eggs are a hen’s first eggs and are usually a bit smaller than what she’ll lay once she matures. These girls are off to a beautiful start.

I’ve been a little quiet on here lately, but life on the farm has been keeping me busy. Life itself has been keeping me even more busy.

Over the last month, we’ve spent countless hours planting, and I’m happy to say that almost all of the dahlias are finally in the ground. The first row planted has started to bloom, which is always such an exciting milestone after all the work that goes into the season and everything I could have dreamed of…😍😍

The chickens are doing what chickens do best…. keeping us entertained and occasionally testing our patience.

I wanted to share a few snapshots from the past month to catch everyone up on what we’ve been up to around the farm. Thank you for following along, even when I’m not posting as often. More blooms and farm updates are coming soon! 🌸🐓🚜.
