Would anyone be interested in a stitching meet-up in Dallas at the Dallas Arboretum?

I love crocheting outside in nature. I feel a great connection with the earth, the trees, the flowers, and love to be in places that fully surround me with natural abundance. The Dallas Arboretum is simply gorgeous and has lots of places to sit, stitch, ponder, sip a drink, and watch people and nature at a leisurely pace.

Anyway, I have a family membership and can get myself in with 5 people at no cost, so let me know if this is something you’d be interested in doing.

The Dallas Arboretum is proud to offer the public an array of popular annual events, educational programs for children and adults, and an emphasis on family-oriented activities.

Unicorn Mandala update! I think I am now on row 32, which is just about halfway. I am really enjoying the variety of stitches and the incredible texture. This pattern creates. I have made a few design element changes as I go along, but have stuck to the original pattern in most rounds. It is a little bit of a beast, and is getting heavy, even at halfway through. I’m strongly considering using this one as an entry into the Texas state fair craft contest. What do you think?
