To the neighbor who thought it was a great idea to scoop up my dog’s p**p from your yard and drop it on my doorstep like some kind of self-appointed enforcer—congratulations. That might be one of the dumbest decisions I’ve seen in a while.
Waking up to a pile sitting on my welcome mat like it was meant to ā€œsend a messageā€ was definitely something. But before you pat yourself on the back too hard, just know the camera on my porch caught the entire thing.
Let’s clear something up. Dogs go to the bathroom outside. That’s how it works. They walk, they stop, they do their business, and they move on. I’m not trailing behind mine like a hazmat crew every second he steps on grass. If a small patch of your lawn has you this worked up, that sounds like a personal issue.
What’s really baffling is the effort you put in. Instead of just moving on like a normal person, you picked it up, carried it over here, and carefully placed it on my doorstep like it was some grand statement. That’s not normal—that’s what someone does when they’re looking for a problem to create.
So thanks for the footage. And just so we’re clear—if you step onto my property again to leave another one of your little ā€œmessages,ā€ you can go ahead and explain that decision to the police instead.

WTD w/ this awkward space?
So we have the small space to the right when you walk in the main entry. It is big enough to do something with but not big enough to do much. Some family has recommended adding fake trees (the faux birch branches). I’m open to decor ideas and functional ideas as well. Let hear your thoughts!
note* area is 5ā€˜ 3ā€œ L x 1ā€˜ 3ā€œ W and it has an outlet

We went out to dinner with a group of five, and by the end of the night the bill was right around $577 and change. When it came time to pay, we left a $60 tip because we felt like that was a fair amount and wanted to leave something extra for the service.
What I didn’t expect was the server making a comment that she was expecting closer to $120.
And no, it didn’t come across like some light little joke either. The tone felt serious, the moment got awkward fast, and suddenly we were standing there feeling uncomfortable over a tip we had already chosen to leave in the first place.
When we pushed back and mentioned possibly talking to a manager, that’s when the story suddenly changed to ā€œI was just kidding.ā€ But let’s be real — not every rude comment magically becomes a joke just because someone gets called out on it.
The whole thing left us feeling weird and honestly kind of embarrassed, because we weren’t trying to short anybody. We tipped what we thought was reasonable, and being confronted like that completely changed the vibe of the night.
So now I’m curious — was $60 on a $577 bill really that unreasonable, or would most people also think asking for $120 was way out of line?šŸ™„šŸ™„

Hello y’all! My old-ish 1942 house has this hall bath. The window looks ā€˜out’ to an addition laundry room I’m redoing and the contractor wants to know if I want to ā€˜do’ anything to it.

I have gone over and over thinking best option is to try and close it in and find similar tiles, but I also like that I can get some light in here …

Needs privacy but want the light

Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
