Old-Fashioned Fudge
This fudge recipe brings back memories of holiday afternoons spent with family in the kitchen. Sweet, creamy, and delightfully simple, it’s the perfect treat for gifting or enjoying around the table. Let’s make some memories!
Ingredients:
3 cups granulated sugar
1½ sticks salted butter
2/3 cup evaporated milk
12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
7 oz marshmallow creme
1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
Prepare the Pan
Spray a 9x9-inch pan with nonstick cooking spray (or line with parchment paper).
Boil the Mixture
In a heavy-bottomed pot, combine sugar, butter, and evaporated milk. Bring to a boil while stirring constantly. Boil for 5 minutes.
Mix in Chocolate Chips
Remove from heat and stir in the chocolate chips until completely melted.
Add Marshmallow Creme and Vanilla
Blend in marshmallow creme and vanilla with a handheld mixer for a smooth, creamy texture.
Cool the Fudge
Pour the fudge into the prepared pan, spreading evenly with a spatula. Let cool for 1 hour or until firm.

Tips:
Use parchment paper to make it easy to lift the fudge out of the pan.
Stir constantly to avoid scorching the mixture.
For firmer fudge, refrigerate for a few hours before serving.
