Thank you to everyone for participating. We loved seeing many of you Thursday morning. We hope you had fun.  We welcome your comments and love your positive feedback. We love doing the rock hunt and will definitely be doing it again.
Explanation of Clues

Clue #1
Carpets Plus rock hunters, this is the first clue. Enjoy the hunt, But follow the rools. Drink lots of water and stay hydrated, it’s hot ouT there, even at the fare. FInd the rules on ouR paje, this huNt is open to all no mattEr the age. Bring the whole Famly and cover more Grownd, stay away from waTer but hear thE sound. Be a gooD neighbor and help otheRs too. Your eyes must be true and have a clear view. If you want the prize, you’ve got to use your eyes to be scene by the evergreen. Do your muscles ache or need a sTake? That could be good but don’t need wood. Why are these werds misspelled and just rOng. It might be a cloo or just pulling u along. MiNi rocks are all arownd, limit one per familee, free food if found. Want some cash or free Wok? Get out there and find that rock.
(If you take all of the capital letters in wrong places and unscramble them it spells “Bridger Teton NF” there is a big sign for that right as you enter Swift Creek Canyon- Need a “stake” purposely spelled wrong refers to you might need a tent stake if you are going to pitch a tent in a camp ground- “Don’t need wood” refers to a charcoal grill that was right next to the rock)
Clue #2
250 years of freedom we enjoy because of the brave. Always remembered, never forgotten. Don’t get nervous, we all thank them for their service. Find a 6iant tower and a fence, this will make sense but increase your suspense. 4re you getting pumped or just more stumped? Rocks and stones all around some are tall, some level with ground. Flowers are abundant 2, yellow, red and some blue. Are you doing your best 0r do you need a place to rest?
(6420 refers to the elevation of Swift Creek Campground- “Find a giant tower and a fence” refers to the very large towering tree right next to the rock, there are also fences in the campground- “stumped” this is the first time I used this word referring to many many tree stumps in the area where the rock was hidden- there are also many rocks and stones and flowers in the campground)
Clue #3
The fee for the green is none but wild and overrun. Are your thoughts up to par? You’ll have to leave your car or go too far. Seven and eight are great, but that’s not your fate. Do you think you’re getting hotter? Remember, it’s not close to water. Some of these clues are busy and wordy, just close your eyes and listen for birdies. If you’re an early riser you’ll have dew but all day long enjoy the view.
(“Fee for the green” refers to a campsite fee deposit box which is painted green but because the campground is closed the fee is none- “leave your car or go too far” refers to the fact that you cannot go past the gate at the entrance to the campground and you also don’t want to drive too far up Swift Creek Canyon- “Seven and Eight” refers to the fact that there are two campsites numbered 7 and 8 but the rock was in #1- “listen for birdies” gives you a clue that the campground is farther away from the city where nature can be heard more easily)
Clue #4
If you want the fame you better up your game. You’ll need all the clues to find this rock, so study them lots, get ready to walk. This place was busy one day, lots of kids were here to play. Star Valley is the home of the Braves, here some wind or see some waves. You are doing great, I can tell. Hurry up, don’t be saved by the bell.
(“Get ready to walk” reminds you that you cannot drive to the rock, you had to walk to get there- “Place was busy one day kids here to play” refers to the campground used to be open and used alot- “home of the Braves” refers to SVHS which is in Afton telling you the rock is closest to Afton- “See some waves” refers to the waves on Swift Creek very close to the rock)
Clue #5
How well do you know our history? Enuf to solve this mystery? You have to park to fInd your mark. Study these clues and review your thinking. What is 2 from 89? don’t start blinking. Lots of towers surrounding it, stay on track and don’t quit. Go on foot and try to roam. Just keep looking before going home. The fair has great vendors. Go support them now and don’t surrender. You have to be quick and witty while going above the city.
(“Know our history” asks do you know this campground used to be open but now is not- “Have to park” refers to you can’t drive past the gate- “2 from 89” there is a brown sign on highway 89 that says Swift Creek Campground is 2 miles away- “Lots of towers” refers to many towering trees in the campground- “Going above the city” this campground is about 200 feet higher elevation than Afton)
Clue #6
Make sure the ground is stable, if you fall use a table. Find it before nite. Use your senses, mostly heering and site. Get there furst or be cursed with a dusty thurst. Here’s a great thawt, are you in the right spawt? There are lots to choose, you don’t want to lose. Don’t stay too late or get your mind in a clowd. Sleep is not aloud.
(“Use a table” refers to many tables in the campground- “Site” purposely spelled incorrectly for the context refers to camp “Sites”- “Get there first” refers to the limited parking outside the gate meaning if you are late you will probably have to walk a ways on a dusty road- “Sleep is not allowed” refers to no overnight camping allowed in the campground)
Clue #7
His and hers are side by side. The trail is not too wide. Walking is good, with lots of wood. The tables have turned, don’t get burned. Don’t try to pass the gate if it’s late but hear the tweet while on your feet. Are you having fun? Don’t get addicted or restricted, but drink lots of liquid. You have to be speedy and quick while traversing this trick.

(“His and Hers” refers to the bathrooms in the campground- “Tables and burned” refers to tables and fire pits in the campground- “Pass the gate if it’s late” refers to no overnight camping- “Hear the tweet” is another reference to listening to nature away from the city- “Speedy and Quick while Traversing” another word for Speedy and Quick is Swift and Traversing is another word for crossing a bridge)

Clue #8
Eat if you must and watch for the dust. So go there right now or don’t you know how. You muSt be WithIn feet watch out For the heat. Did you hear whaT I said? Don’t bring your quad or sled. Are you watChing youR son or daughtEr? Remember it’s not close to watEr. Do you have enough wit, don’t get stucK in a pit. Are you stumped? Read the rules again to get you pumped.

Clue #9
The second one is better than the first Are you dying of thirst? Turning here will get you higher it is here in Case of fire. Some of you Are out for blood, watch for a possible flood. Do you have enough tiMe? 10 to 11 will helP you stay in line. 335 is tOo late. Go before past the gate. Is your brain stumped and Rusty or just confused and dUsty? FinDinG this rock could give you a lift. Don’t be slow you gotta be swift. Are you right or are you wroNg? By now you know the song.

Clue #10
Get on your knees with ease beneath the trees but don’t use these or V’s. You cannot get through if you go straight, but off to the side around the gate. Can you see a star or should you go too far? Are you drinking and eating or just blinking and competing? Don’t get famished. Some things are great even when damaged. 10 2 11 is what we showed, it’s not a time but is a road.
(“Beneath the Trees” this is obvious by now- “or V’s” refers to the no ORV’s sign again- “Off to the side around the gate” refers to the gate as you enter the campground- “Damaged” refers to the campground being closed because of flood damage- “10 2 11” refers to Forest Road 10211)
Clue #11
Eight is great, seven is heaven but two with ribbon is livin. You won’t need a key or pay a fee. How’s your skill? Is it enough to fulfill your will? Maybe you should just chill and grill. The pipes are out what is that about? Find a tower and look around, the rock is on the ground. This is real with lots of snakes, don’t be fooled by fakes or take a loss amongst the moss.
(“Eight is great etc” refers to the rock is not in campsite 8 or 7 but there is a sign with a number 2 and some orange ribbon nearby- “Won’t need to pay a fee” again the campground is closed and no fees are required- “Pipes are out” If you made it to the campground this is very obvious- “Tower” another reference to the tall trees”- “Snakes” there is a lot of snake grass all over in the area- “Moss” there is a lot of moss right next to the rock)
