Baby…

I ain’t gonna lie…
seeing this room finally come together got me wanting to paint every other room in the house.

For the longest this was just a dining room I barely used.
Plain walls.
Random storage.
No real intention behind it.

And now it’s slowly turning into a space that actually inspires me to create.

& child the paint was literally the most expensive part of this room
I spent around $40 and the rest was just me learning how to see differently.

That’s why I keep saying romanticizing your life is deeper than expensive things.

Sometimes it’s:
painting the room you’ve been thinking about for years.
rearranging your house.
using what you already have differently.
creating beauty in your everyday environment.
giving yourself permission to make your life feel good NOW instead of “one day.”

Most of this room was done with things I already owned.
Old furniture.
Decor I collected over time.
Pieces sitting around collecting dust.
Literally items I pulled out the shed.

I just started looking at them differently.

And honestly?
That mindset shift shapes my life

Baby I’ve been wanting to paint this room for the longest and finally decided to stop putting it off and just start.

My biggest goal with this space honestly wasn’t perfection… it was intention.

I wanted somewhere that felt inspiring to create in. Somewhere that felt like me.
Moody & Dramatic.✨

But more than anything, I wanted to create something beautiful without spending a ton of money.

Most of this project is being done with things I already had:
paint supplies,
decor,
old furniture,
random pieces I’ve collected over time.

And honestly… I think that’s where a lot of people get stuck when it comes to creating a life they actually enjoy.

They think they need:
more money,
more space,
more resources,
more everything…

before they can start living beautifully or intentionally.

When really…
sometimes it’s just about learning how to see differently.

That mindset shift changed my life.

That’s a huge part of why I created my ebook,
“Girl, Act Like You Know.”

It’s all about romanticizing your life, moving with intention, and learning how to create beauty with what you already have instead of constantly waiting for “more.”

Child… now why was somebody about to throw this dresser away?

It was outdated, scratched up & all..but I could still see the potential in it.

And I think that’s why I love thrifting, repainting furniture, decorating, all of it honestly.

I just love taking things that already exist and making them feel beautiful again.

A lot of the things in my space are thrifted, repainted, gifted, or DIY’d and it’s really taught me that creating a beautiful life has way more to do with vision and intention than having a ton of money.

Anyways… she’s now the star of the room & I can’t stop looking at her
