Festival weekend 🤎

What a weekend. So many new faces walked through our door and our familiar faces showed up for us like they always do. I’ll never stop being grateful for both.

There’s something really special about owning a little shop in a small town—especially one that is growing, changing, and becoming something pretty special. I’m just so thankful Sweet Linen gets to be a small part of it.

Thank you for showing up, shopping small, and making this weekend such a success. We love being here 🤎

The day Sweet Linen turned into a flower shop 🤍🌸

My best friend Aly and I spent the day here Friday putting together all of the florals for her sister’s wedding, and somewhere between the buckets of flowers, stems all over the floor, and arrangements covering every surface, I had one of those moments where I looked around and thought… this is exactly what I hoped this place would be.

Sweet Linen is a boutique, yes. But I’ve always wanted it to be more than a place where you come to buy something. I wanted it to be a place that feels lived in. A place to gather with the people I love, be creative, make a mess, dream up pretty things, and make memories along the way.

Just two best friends, surrounded by entirely too many flowers, creating something beautiful together right here at Sweet Linen- a memory I will hold onto forever.

This little shop gets to hold so much more than clothes and pretty things. I think that might be my favorite part of it. 🤍

Dallas Market Recap 🤍

This was only my second time making it to market since opening Sweet Linen. Between being pregnant, having Jett, and keeping up with the big kids’ schedules, getting away to buy in person hasn’t been easy. So being back at market this week felt extra special—and reminded me how much I love this part of what I do.

I am so picky about what makes it into Sweet Linen. There is no “one size fits all” when I’m buying. I touch and feel every single piece of clothing on the rack. Something can be the cutest thing I’ve ever seen, but if it doesn’t feel good? Immediate no. 🙈

I’m not trying to compete with Amazon, Target, or whatever fast-fashion brand is trending right now. I want Sweet Linen to be different. I want to bring in a thoughtfully curated collection of quality pieces at the best prices I can possibly offer them.

Being in a small town and wanting to keep my prices as accessible as possible sometimes means taking a hit on my margins. But Sweet Linen has never been just a store where I sell things and make money.

For me, it’s about the experience. It’s about helping women find pieces they genuinely love and feel good in. It’s about bringing you quality things that can live in your closet for years—not just until the next trend comes along.

I’m not chasing trends. I’m chasing connection and trust with my customers. And I want you to know that when you pick something up at Sweet Linen, there was a lot of thought behind why it’s there.

And you’ll see in the last pic- on the flight home, I looked out the window and saw this view. I literally said out loud, “Hi, God.” 🤍

It was one of those moments where I felt Him so clearly saying, stay the course.

Keep doing it your way. Keep being intentional. Keep trusting where I’m leading you.

So that’s exactly what I’m going to do. 🤍

I came home from Dallas feeling incredibly excited about what’s ahead for Sweet Linen—and even more sure of why I started it in the first place.
