Hi there!!
I’ve noticed some new faces around here lately, even in the most recent quiet days on the S+S page, so I wanted to give you all a little insight into my world!
✨Meet my tribe✨
My fun-loving goofball husband DUSTIN, who makes fast friends with everyone he meets. An expert at keeping life light, always there to brighten the day and keep us laughing! He has my heart.

Our kiddo KAI, who makes life better than I could have ever imagined! The most creative and imaginative human, with the biggest softest heart of gold! He teaches us new things every single day and literally makes life better.

And of course our pups! LUNA + POPPY, soul sisters, besties, kindred spirits, they were meant to live out life together by our side. They keep us moving and laughing and love us unconditionally, without them our home, our family, would not be complete.

So there you have it! The crew that inspires me every day and keeps me growing and striving to always do better. The love, bond and foundation I always hoped for but was never really sure I’d have.
Couldn’t be more grateful!

Moody Monday vibes…
I’ve been loving these unexpected overcast mornings lately — especially in the middle of a hot July. There’s something about waking up to a cloudy sky that helps me ease into the day a little more gently. It’s my favorite kind of start.
This dark, moody bathroom reno felt like the perfect match for my Monday mood with its rich, calm, colors and dramatic light.

The iconic LA Fingers photo by Estevan Oriol says it all—Los Angeles, in its purest form. A symbol of pride, resilience, roots. LA is Mexicano to its core. Always has been. The culture, the rhythm, the soul of this city was built by the hands of immigrants and native people who have shaped it generation after generation.

It breaks my heart to see what’s happening across our country—to see families torn apart, our communities dehumanized, and fear used as a weapon, all under the false promise of security. On stolen land, no one has more right to safety, to freedom, to home than another.

But amid the grief, there’s beauty. So much beauty. This city has been through so much grief and trauma this year and still the people of LA show up for each other. We rally, we care, we lift. And that gives me hope.

Because home is sacred and family is everything. People work so hard to make a safe space for their children. To break that in the name of borders or control is not justice—it’s cruelty.

We are all children of immigrants. We are all deserving of safety, dignity, and the right to live free.

Ending this beautiful day feeling deeply grateful for the ones who made me a mama — truly the most special and humbling gift in the world.
I’m also holding so much love for my own mama, and for all the incredible mothers, in every form, who pour so much of themselves into their families.
To the mamas doing all the things — holding it all together, showing up with love, keeping life afloat — you are truly inspiring, and I hope today you felt even a fraction of the love and appreciation you so fully deserve.

Every day is Earth Day when we take the time to slow down, step outside, and reconnect with the natural world. Grounding in the earth—bare feet in the soil, sun on our skin, wind in our lungs—reminds us of Mother Nature’s abundance, resilience, and quiet power.

This throwback to a 2019 backpacking trip in the Pasayten Wilderness with some incredible women is a reminder of that connection, strength, and the joy of being immersed in wild beauty.

At Seed + Sow, sustainability in design is just as important. We honor the earth by rethinking what we use, keeping what has meaning, and thoughtfully blending the old with the new. There’s beauty in what already exists—sometimes it just needs a new light.

Here’s to protecting, respecting, and celebrating this planet—today and every day.

Easter feels like the perfect moment to pause, take a deep breath, and notice the beauty around us—sun-drenched mornings, fresh blooms, good food, and time with the people we love.

Feeling especially grateful today—for connection, for quiet moments, and for the spaces that hold our most meaningful memories.
