My work table is filled with chicken parts today, because I was down to one poor little lonely, chicken pot holder!

If you follow Watercolors by Susie you will probably recognize some of her artwork. Susie had a friend who wanted to gift some of her artwork for Christmas and had me put the painting on potholders. What a great way to make something practical and beautiful!

Sewing is messy! 😂✂️✨ Thread everywhere, fabric scraps multiplying, supplies scattered, and somehow I’m wearing half the project.

But that chaos is part of the magic. ❤️ A little creativity, lots of experimenting, and hopefully something beautiful at the end!

I’ll take a creative mess over a boring table any day!
