Our pendants start life in our shop as a dry log or branch of wood that we prepare.⁠

We dry, mill and vacuum stabilize all of the wood we use before we build our resin worlds around them.⁠
⁠
This piece here is from a burl covered hawthorn tree that we recovered before it was sent into the wood chipper. ⁠
⁠
Most of the burl is small and shallow, it is interesting finding the points in the grain where you can see the original damage or infection that caused the burl to form.⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠
