Wild Angels Expressions Scrapbooking supplies, and handmade paper and craft goods. We offer bi-weekly Friday Night "Mom's Night Out" open crafting events and classes, too. Thanks!

We offer a unique blend of handmade paper and craft goods, All our handmade items are made by the Fisher Family as a way to raise awareness for persons with disabilities. (Proceeds from the shop benefit the Alpaca farm that that Fishers are running outside of Mechanicsville which started as a life-skills environment for their children but which quickly has become a "destination site" for local families and school children.) Our shop also has a small scrapbook inventory AND a large crafting area in the back, too, so that those interested in scrapbooking/ card making/ crafting can come and take classes, gather and "crop". We do hope you come by and see us.

The rumours are true! Life as I know it has changed. Sizzix is moving it's warehouse.... TO CHICAGO! I must save ALL my pennies.. and find a copilot to go with and restrain me. IYKYK.

The Made in Iowa show we were at this weekend has shared numbers and I have to pass them on. 150 vendors were at Hawkeye Downs. The food drive netted 955 pounds of food. We had a scarecrow scavenger hunt, door prizes and (drum roll) over 3,500 people come through. So, yes, it was successful... and, YES, I am tired. Time for some R&R. Back at the shop on Wednesday.

SCREW THE CRAFT POLICE
I really dislike when people tell others that they are doing your craft (cross stitch, crochet, ceramics, quilting.. whatever) the "wrong way"

Crafting is an art, unless something you are doing is dangerous (like not using eye protection when cutting glass) THERE IS NO WRONG WAY.

If the outcome is something you want and like, nobody can tell you using the back loop or stitching top to bottom, or binding a quilt from the front, is wrong.

Sure, if you aren't getting what you expect and would like help adjusting it, that is totally reasonable. BUT DON'T LET ANYONE LOOK AT YOUR WORK AND SAY "YOU DIDN'T DO IT CORRECTLY"

Degas and Picasso were both painters, but I am pretty sure neither one of them would have the balls to tell the other that they didn't paint "correctly"
