Some days I just know it’s going to be one of THOSE days! 😂

The voices in my head are arguing, my imaginary friend is apparently running around with scissors, and I’m pretty sure one of my personalities has wandered off unsupervised! 🤪✂️

At this point, the safest thing for everyone is for me to stay in my sewing room, shut the door, and QUILT! 🧵😂

Happy Thursday! 💙🧵

I was wiped when I got home yesterday after all the errands and meeting with customers! My knees were not happy at all! Wake up today to rain...perfect time to stay home and get some work done! I have precut kits to finish for Showstopper today! That is for our Quilt Along starting on September 11th!

Do I need a special occasion to buy fabric? Absolutely not. 😂 If it’s pretty, it followed me home, and I can find a spot for it in the stash… that sounds like a perfectly good reason to me!

Besides, fabric therapy is a real thing. Miss Nola agrees, so that makes it official. 🐾💕

Sometimes the prettiest color combinations come in the smallest packages! 🐦💙

Soft cream, dusty teal, golden ochre, warm taupe, and soft peach make such an unexpectedly beautiful and cozy combination.

I especially love that dusty teal with the golden ochre! 🧵✨ Add the peach and soft neutrals and suddenly you have a palette that feels warm, cheerful, and completely different.

Nature really is the best color consultant—and she doesn’t even charge by the hour! 😂

What a busy and crazy day...not sure I was able to get much done today other than customers and errands but tonight I have decided to embark on my next Lego Adventure!! lol

This is the Modular lego store and if I were to purchase it as a kit it is over $600.00! So tonight I am going through my Lego pieces and seeing how much I can pull from my stash to build this for my city. There are a few parts I know I will have to order like the Lego sign and the gears but I think I have most of the parts I need.

I get to sit for a while and rest my knee so that is a good thing too!
I hope you have a lovely evening and I will see you bright and early in the morning!! Don't forget I have the Rose fabric arriving tomorrow!! I know it isn't a ton of fabric but I love that one bolt! lol

In September I have Starry Night Fabric coming in and can't wait for that! Starry Night is one of my favorite paintings of all time and I really love the fabric. One of these days I want to make this painting in lego also but that is for another day! lol
