Hosted at Ohayo Mountain House - an inspiring modern residence for sale in the Catskill Mountains - over 70 handcrafted works by 21 contemporary art and design studios settle into rooms, hallways, and clearings. It’s a place to gather, a place to convene with nature, and a place to see contemporary works as they are meant to be lived with.

As we approach America’s 250th anniversary, the country is still at a series of ever-alarming crossroads with rising authoritarianism, corporate greed, and the questioning of basic human rights, to name a few.

Set against this backdrop, we present ‘DON’T SIT ON ME’ - a protest show through the lens of chair design. From paper thrones and economic stools to spiked seats, this brazen group exhibition features 13 chair designs that defiantly stand against the challenges and injustices that people face on a daily basis.
