I have found the crewel of my dreams. Isn’t she lovely? 😍 It is inspired by Georges Seurat’s, “A Sunday on La Grande Jatte”, his best known work. I just can’t stop studying it, and also wishing that I too could be sitting on the shoreline with a parasol, watching the sailboats roll by. ✨

My momma’s and mother-in-law’s recipe cards. These are priceless to me. And it goes beyond the actual recipes - it’s the hand-written cards and the old smudges from meals long since made. The more smudges the better. It’s the hearts behind these words that wished to lovingly feed their families with delicious food worth remembering. These are boxes full of love. And they’re some of my most valuable possessions. We also want to say that if you don’t happen to have been passed down something like this, you can start your own! Vintage recipe boxes are plentiful and gorgeous on your countertop.

We love to find new ways to use the vintage items we love around our home, and this is one of our new favorite ideas! How perfect is the shape of a teapot and its spout to have your ribbon all poised and ready for your next cut? And we can’t discount the benefit of having something so pretty be so functional too! We couldn’t have designed it better ourselves.
