Okay, THIS was a fun one!! I love this whimsical little area even more now! 🥹🩷🌷
Step one: Find old fire-pit bowl (we saved ours from a trash pile!)
Step 2: Spray paint color of choice, we chose black because it’s what we had on hand!
Step 3: Locate wood stump (our tree falling down recently came in clutch for this one!)
Step 4: But solar fountain, and enjoy!

Entryway spruce up? Yes please! I can’t say no to vintage oil paintings, especially when they are only $3 for the pair. I knew from the pictures online that I wasn’t really going to love the frame so I was not afraid to pop the pictures out and spray paint the frames…I love them! Wha do you think, would you have snagged the for $3 too?!

-Step 1, ask the seller if she can wait a few days before you pick it up, if she says no, it wasn’t meant to be.
-Step two, secure date and time.
-Step 3, borrow your in-laws truck.
-Step 4, pray that this piece doesn’t slip out of my hands out break my back.
-Step 5, move piece into final destination!
We have had a long term goal of making our laundry room into 1/2 laundry room 1/2 butlers pantry and although one day we would love to build some custom cabintry, we found this $100 that would be the PERFECT place to start. She will store our rice cooker, our crock pots, some rarely used pots and pans, a handful of cookbooks, and of course, lots of pretty decor too! 2016 Jenna would have painted this piece but 2026 Jenna loves her, just as she is!
And for the record, I didn’t put any music to this because I think it’s refreshing to watch videos of real life happening, without a trending audio. We basically moved this piece in pure silence because I honestly feared for my life as this was one of the heaviest pieces we’ve ever lifted. 🤣 The previous owner said it was heavy and to bring help and she was NOT kidding.
PART TWO, the reveal of the piece decorated and utilized for its various purposes, coming tomorrow!

Need an out-of-the-box gift idea for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day or for a birthday? This was the absolute easiest (and sweetest) craft...one of my all time favorites! The clay is extremely easy to work with if you mess up, you can roll it out and do it again! All you need is oven dry clay, a rolling pin, and some scissors (or a knife) to cut out the hand shape and you have the sweetest little bouquet for Valentine’s Day!
(NOTE: I read that you can use salsa jars but I used mason jars which are NOT oven safe, but I decided to give it a test run 🫣 and it worked fine for me. I baked them with the clay on at 275 for about 10 minutes and then kept them in the oven after turning the oven off, and then waited a bit to pull them out so the cold air didn’t shock them.)
Sidenote, I did have trouble with the hands sticking to the glass a week later, so I just put some superglue on them to make sure they stuck!

A winters day view of all the angles of Hudson bedroom, one of my favorite rooms in our home, because of his cozy wall color. Blue paint in a bedroom creates a calming and tranquil environment, often promoting better sleep by reducing stress. The color we used is: Slate Tile by
