We’ve partnered with Goldfish Swim School-so come get ready with us, and follow us along for a swim lesson!
Each week we head to Sylvania for our swim lessons. It’s our kiddos favorite day of the week because there is so much to look forward to. Warm water, swimming with a buddy or two, and working towards moving up to the next level. They love it, especially when they get to see their hard work pay off!
That being said, May is Water Safety Awareness Month!! Goldfish Swim is offering a first lesson free + waived membership fee with enrollment! We can’t recommend Goldfish Swim enough. 🩷

Remember our mud kitchen?! When the world fell apart in 2020, we were busy making our 1 year old a mud kitchen, and it’s been 6 years since then, so we needed to spruce it up a bit! The handles were falling off, the paint was dilapidated and some of the kitchen tools weren’t functional anymore due to sitting out in the elements, year round. So, we bought new oven “knobs” at Hobby Lobby, used a couple cans of spray paint to update the stove top and oven. We then spray painted the menu board with chalk paint so that the kiddos can make their own menu, now that they are old enough 🥹 It seems like just yesterday we built this. Okay, THIS was a fun one!! I love this whimsical little area even more now! 🥹🩷🌷
Step one: Find old fire-pit bowl (we saved ours from a trash pile!)
Step 2: Spray paint color of choice, we chose black because it’s what we had on hand!
Step 3: Locate wood stump (our tree falling down recently came in clutch for this one!)
Step 4: But solar fountain, and enjoy!

Entryway spruce up? Yes please! I can’t say no to vintage oil paintings, especially when they are only $3 for the pair. I knew from the pictures online that I wasn’t really going to love the frame so I was not afraid to pop the pictures out and spray paint the frames…I love them! Wha do you think, would you have snagged the for $3 too?!
