😂😂😂 Heading into the weekend and remembering the days of the 3 AM McDonald’s drive-thru… aka the roll of shame.

💛 Four women. One little shop. A whole lot of girl power…. There are four women behind this little shop, and while we may not always see eye-to-eye on everything (because… well, four women 😂), one thing we can agree on is this:
Strong women make other women stronger.
We lift each other up. We encourage each other. We cheer each other on. And even when we’re different, we can still respect, support, and appreciate one another. ❤️

In the last week and a half we lost two incredible women who were pioneers in their own ways … women who paved paths, challenged the norm, created change, and inspired generations of women who came after them.
Rest in peace, Gloria Steinem. A journalist, author, activist and longtime advocate for women, she spent decades using her voice to open doors and encourage women to find theirs.
And perhaps that’s part of the reason we always loved Bloodroot Vegetarian Restaurant so much. ❤️ There was something special about a place created by women, for women, where conversation, community, food, creativity and ideas all had a seat at the table.
Different women. Different voices. Different paths.
But always room at the table. 🫶

Here’s to the women who came before us, the women beside us, and the girls growing up behind us. Keep lifting each other up. We’re better when we do. 💛
