Old Hippy Art Old Hippy Art is the culmination and continuation of a lifetime of creative and therapeutic endeavor He helped her to appreciate abstract art.

After the field of Graphic Art was taken over by computers, Mikel quickly determined he would have to use other means to support his growing family. Art became his hobby and his therapy through difficult times and in coping with mental illness. Mikel met a woman he had once dreamt about, Clarissa in January 2014. They were married and she encouraged him to continue pursuing art, expanding the tool

s with which he produced his unique pieces. By 2016, Mikel had gained enough confidence with his art that he eagerly exhibited it to anyone and everyone that showed even the slightest interest, and some of these people wanted to be able to purchase various pieces. Mikel and Clarissa began to toss ideas around. Mikel reminds Clarissa some of the man spoken of in a song by the Bellamy Brothers., though he prefers Classic Rock.

The Old Hippy is considering doing private showings locally. We would come to you. So, who is interested? If there was a small fee (such as 50 cents or $1 per mile get to you and back) that could be applied to any purchase made at that showing, would you still be interested?

When I saw the Deseret Peak Temple lit up for the first time, I thought it looked like it was glowing from the inside out. With the assistance of technology, I was able to bring a similar effect to The Old Hippy's line drawing of this Temple.
