For the first time, a monastic Lama and monks from the Royal Government Monastery of Bhutan will grace Southern California from October 23rd to 28th, 2024. This is an exciting and sacred event! His Holiness Tsukla Lopon Rinpoche will offer teachings, perform empowerments, and lead rituals for the benefit of Buddhist devotees and, more broadly, for the wellbeing of all sentient beings. The schedule is filled with various spiritual activities and empowerments, offering a rare opportunity for the Bhutanese and Buddhist communities in the area to connect with Bhutan’s spiritual traditions.
Tsukla Lopon Rinpoche of the Royal Government Monastic Buddhist Center of Bhutan is one of the most revered Buddhist teachers in Bhutan. This is a truly auspicious occasion! The visit of His Holiness Tsukla Lopon Rinpoche to Southern California will provide a profound spiritual experience for all attendees. The blend of teachings, rituals, and empowerments, deeply rooted in Bhutan's rich Vajrayana Buddhist tradition, offers a rare opportunity for both the Bhutanese and the larger Buddhist community to connect with their spiritual heritage.

Thought for the day!
I am an apolitical person. I respect the law of the land without prejudice against its leaders or parties. A rigid ideological person who is in power brings tragedies to human society at large. Therefore, it is the utmost responsibility of citizens to choose any leader with due diligence. Otherwise, history will keep repeating itself generation after generation due to the complacency of its citizens.

Thought for the day!
To those who are suffering from emotional stress and depression in your life: the causes of these issues are often your own projections of life within yourself. It is never too late to change and become a good human being for your own good. Otherwise, if you don't recognize this, you are both the imposer and the sufferer in your own life. Please use your intelligence and wisdom to avoid perpetuating your own suffering. You are the god in your life, and you are the devil in your life. The choices are within you, and no one else can make these changes for you in this lifetime.

Thought for the day!
I believe time and nature haven't changed much since the beginning of time. However, the environment has changed drastically due to the greed of its dwellers. If humans do not manage our needs and consume mindfully sooner rather than later, the consequences could be dire. If we do not act responsibly, as we are duty-bound to do, even the flow of time and nature might collapse upon us.
