We were proud to sponsor the 67th Annual Portuguese Bend National Horse Show, hosted by the Peninsula Committee Children’s Hospital.

It was an honor to support an event that has been such a meaningful part of our community for generations, all while benefiting Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and the incredible work they do for children and families.

Were grateful to have played a small part in supporting this wonderful cause and the community were so fortunate to work within.

Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of working alongside respected architects, builders, developers,
and industry professionals who are driven by the same commitment to thoughtful design, exceptional craftsmanship, and lasting quality.

We believe the best projects are the result of strong partnerships where ideas are exchanged openly and
every decision is guided by a shared vision. From the earliest stages of planning through the final details
of construction, collaboration is at the heart of everything we do.

We’re always looking to build lasting relationships with architects, builders, and industry professionals who share this common belief. If that’s you, we’d love to connect.

Behind every finished home are countless site visits, conversations, and decisions.

Progress takes many forms, and every visit is an opportunity to review details, collaborate with our
project partners, and ensure each design continues to move forward with intention.

First impressions begin long before you walk through the front door.

Inspired by Mediterranean architecture, the exterior introduces the home’s warm, natural palette through
handcrafted materials, timeless proportions, and thoughtful landscaping. Every detail works together to
create a welcoming transition between architecture and nature, a theme that continues throughout the interiors.

The result is a home that feels connected to its surroundings while celebrating the beauty of authentic,
enduring materials.

One of our favorite aspects of this home is its celebration of handcrafted materials and connection to
nature. From reclaimed wood, handmade tile, and artisan finishes, every detail was thoughtfully selected
to bring warmth, texture, and authenticity to the space. Each element works together to create a home
that feels truly one of a kind.

At Norman Design Group, we believe exceptional design begins with exceptional materials. By partnering with skilled craftspeople and trusted artisans, we create homes that are beautifully crafted and designed to stand the test of time.

At Norman Design Group, we believe the best homes reflect the people who live in them.

Inspired by Mediterranean architecture with subtle Moroccan influences, every design decision was
guided by our clients’ deep connection to the outdoors and their desire for a home that felt warm, grounded, and timeless. Rather than following trends, we focused on creating spaces that feel authentic, inviting, and deeply connected to nature.

That philosophy shaped every layer of the design, from the architectural details to the carefully selected
materials and artisan craftsmanship you’ll see throughout the home.

Follow along as we share some of our favorite details and the thoughtful elements that bring this vision
to life.

This recently completed Whitefish Lake, MT renovation began with a home that already had something
many people are searching for — good bones and an inviting sense of comfort. Rather than completely
reinventing the space, the goal was to thoughtfully elevate it while preserving the charm and authenticity
that made the home feel special in the first place.
Through refined furnishings, layered textures, updated finishes, and intentional details, the home was
transformed into a timeless mountain retreat designed for gathering, connection, and everyday living. The result feels elevated yet approachable — balancing sophistication with the warmth and coziness that define mountain living at its best.

Every homeowner deserves a design approach that feels authentic to the way they want to live. For some, that may mean embracing a clean mountain-modern aesthetic. For others, it’s about preserving character and creating spaces that feel collected, welcoming, and lived in. The key is thoughtful design that enhances both the home and the lifestyle it supports.

Whether your home needs a full renovation, furnishing updates, or a fresh perspective, intentional design can help uncover its full potential — without erasing its story. If your mountain home is ready for a thoughtful refresh, we’d love to help you reimagine its potential.

We’re honored to be part of the thoughtful transformation of this remarkable 1960s residence. Defined by its striking post-and-beam architecture, dramatic angles, expansive walls of glass, and sweeping views from Downtown Los Angeles to Orange County, this home possesses a character that deserves to be celebrated.

Our approach has been to preserve the integrity of the original architecture while thoughtfully adapting the home for the way it’s lived in today. From updated finishes and modern technology to carefully considered material selections, every decision has been made to complement the home’s architectural language rather than compete with it.

We look forward to sharing more as this incredible home continues to take shape.
