For more than 70 years, the Lockheed C-130 Hercules has served around the world in cargo transport, humanitarian aid, rescue operations, firefighting, special operations, and military missions. Few aircraft in history have proven to be as versatile, dependable, or long-lasting as the Hercules.
At MotoArt, our connection to the C-130 goes back decades. Founder Dave Hall has been collecting retired Hercules flaps and aircraft material for more than 25 years, and over the years MotoArt has transformed these legendary aircraft into dozens of aviation conference tables and furniture pieces.
Now, part of that legacy continues in a new form.
This Thursday, we’re releasing authentic C-130 Hercules Coasters made from real retired aircraft aluminum sourced from multiple Hercules airframes. Each coaster carries unique markings, wear, and character shaped by years of service.
Today on the blog, we take a look at the incredible history of the aircraft that could do almost anything, and how retired Hercules material became functional aviation collectibles.
Read the blog today. See you Thursday at 12PM Pacific for the release.
