🌼In Christianity, the daisy is a symbol of innocence and purity, closely related to the Virgin Mary✨

🌼In Norse mythology, daisies are associated with Freya, a goddess of love, so they are seen as a symbol of love, fertility/childbirth, and new beginnings✨

🌼In Celtic mythology, daisies represented the spirit of a child passed on✨

🌼According to a Roman/Greek myth, Vertumnus, god of seasons and gardens, became obsessed with Belides, a nymph; and in order to escape him, she turned into a daisy (hence the name bellis). So daisies also symbolize chastity and transformation✨

I used to worry so. freaking. much. about what to post/not to post; what to say/not say. I started this page in July 2019 but didn’t start posting regularly until April 2020. Grrr so much wasted time! And don’t get me wrong, I still get caught up in it sometimes, especially when I’m feeling vulnerable, so I am by no means a “master” or anything, but I can control my thoughts much better now that I’m aware of the ✨pattern✨
The reason I bring this up is because I’ve been getting this question asked a lot lately: how did you grow an audience on Instagram? And in all honesty the first thing that would pop into my head was “idk 🤷‍♀️ “ but one day, when I really sat down and thought about it, this is what really made a difference for me: 1. I stopped caring about what other people would think.

After, I felt so liberated and was able to use my time to grow as an artist, and literally grow the number of people I reached through my art.

So basically, in my experience, if you want to grow your social media presence, stop overthinking, and start posting.

Don’t let anyone hold you back from blooming and blossoming! Surround yourself with people who lift you up, and then just do the thing😘

I’ve been feeling discouraged these past few days, after failing to make my flowers look exactly like they do in my head🥲 But, reading your stories was so inspiring! Thank you for sharing your creations with me, it is so special! And above all, thank you for keeping it real!💖

I ended up having a breakthrough with one of my projects and honestly it’s because of you, so once again thank you😭🥰🙏
