We love the challenge of creating large scale sculptures. Not only are there the nuances of creating a piece that is 12 feet tall or so and 11 feet wide, sometimes larger, from an artistic perspective, but transport, installation and rigging of something this large is quite the challenge to arrange. Creativity is required in so many ways, not just an artistic manner! Enjoy these pictures of a few of these large scale sculptures we have created in the past!

Each of our tables is a unique, functional piece of art. Decades of creating these tables have led to their current design. Particular attention is paid not only to appearance, but to the stability, strength and functionality of the table. We use copper in many forms (coil, wire, sheet and milled strapping), stainless steel which is sleeved in copper for added support, and oxy acetylene torches to create the sculpture. Each leaf, each branch and each root is welded onto the piece one at a time. They are then sprayed with an acid wash to strip the oils from the copper and then our "secret recipe" is applied to create the lovely patina on the leaves and branches. Once set, a rigorous cleaning is necessary to bring a beautiful, lustrous shine to the roots. They are then sealed with a clear acrylic coating, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. These tables can be made to any size or shape desired. The end result is a beautiful piece of functional sculpture that will stand the test of time! Birds, birds, birds! My absolute favorite pieces to create. We have created so my different types of birds I can't even name them all! I just love watching them come to life! Herons, egrets (the baby egrets are my most favorite ever!), kiwis birds, eagles, hawks, spoonbills, the list goes on and on! What is your favorite bird?
