Someone once said when you love someone with Dementia you lose them more and more everyday. When they are diagnosed, when they go through different stages, when they need treatment and when they die. This is called "Ambigua Loss." I wouldn’t wish Dementia on anyone. As the brain slowly dies, it changes physically and eventually forgets who their loved ones are. They can end up lying in bed not moving and not eating or drinking.
There will be people who will scroll by this post because Dementia has not touched them. They may not know what it's like to have a loved one who battled or is fighting Dementia💜

For this set of cards, I found a nice piece of retired Christmas Rose retired dsp. This dsp is beautiful so I thought I could get a couple cards out of it.
I rummaged around my craft room and found pine bough embossing folder and rose gold metallic thread. Used mossy meadow (retired) and cherry cobbler cardstock and put together these cards. Picture does not do the card justice. I do like the way they turned out.

The last few chilly days promoted me to start working on Christmas cards. For these cards I used Stampin Up! Festive Tags kit which I made into cards.

Ever have "one of those days." Boy, I sure did. I had been practicing a new fun fold that I had found on you tube by several Stampin'Up! Demonstrators. It uses 3 sheets of 6x6 dsp, cut with 3 no measure angles. I thought, perfect for card class, no fussy measurements. My sample came together rather quickly (not my first attempt). So, I prepped the class. However participants were struggling to fit the puzzle pieces together. Odd I thought, so I start playing with the pieces and I had no success. So, I threw out the pieces and cut 3 new pieces. Two lessons learned here. No measurements may be too good to be true. This card is not going into class rotation. I never did figure out what I did incorrectly.
