Story time …y’all bear with me…😀 As a Mama, I have a lot of ‘proud Mama moments’ (and you’ll see those posted pretty regularly on my personal page). As half of the duo of our small business, I now have a proud ‘Lorna Lou Home moment’ to share with you. My youngest son and his girlfriend live in East Pensacola, across the street from Pensacola Bay. Thankfully they had no damage to their apartment, just trees and power lines down. 🙏🏻 (they just got power back last night). A couple months ago, I gave them one of our door-hangers as a gift. My son called me Sunday and said, ‘oh man, Mom, we forgot to take our door hanger down before the hurricane hit and just noticed it’s gone. No problem..we make them everyday, I’ll make you another. Then he called me again Tuesday to tell me they FOUND it…about 40-50 yards away in the trees/shrubbery. Y’all, this little fella flew off their second story apartment door, had at some point rolled through part of the parking lot/ sidewalk and ended up in the trees….with little to no damage!! Paint, bow, letters, all still intact and looking pretty darn good! ! I’d say that a pretty darn good exp of the craftsmanship of our door-hangers!! Anyway, most importantly the kids are fine, but I gotta say, I’m pretty impressed that even the door-hanger survived Isaias almost unscathed. 😊😃
