In 1965, Charlotte Perriand — architect, designer, visionary — created the Lampe de Bureau to do one thing beautifully: cast the right light in the right place. The translucent molded glass diffuser, white on the inside to preserve the natural warmth of the light, brilliant and pure on the outside. Steel base in deep grey. A colour choice that feels almost seasonal — forest green, deep red, blue grey, blue mare, soft yellow, clean white.

The Lampe de Bureau Reading takes that same quiet genius and stretches it — longer, more sculptural, made for the kind of reading corner or bedside that invites you to stay a little longer as the evenings draw in.

Both pieces are available through Nemo Lighting at New Lifestyle Kitchens & Interiors — because the right light isn’t just functional. In autumn, it’s everything.

Fall is here — and so is everything that comes with it. 🍂

The chunky knits. The blazers you forgot about. The coats that deserve better than a pile on a chair. This is the season that reminds you just how much your wardrobe needs to work for you — not the other way around.

The Morassutti Twist sliding door wardrobe was designed for exactly this. Clean, elegant sliding doors that move effortlessly across the full width of the space. Modular shelving configured precisely around the way you actually dress. An optional integrated mirror. A Free system element at the centre with refined accessories that make getting dressed feel considered, not chaotic.

Every piece in its place. Every morning, a little easier. 🖤

This is what it looks like when Italian craftsmanship meets the way you actually live — season after season.

Two of the world's greatest design cultures. One extraordinary kitchen.

Shaker Queens by Martini Interiors is where the warmth and tradition of English-style kitchen design meet the precision and artisan excellence of Made in Italy craftsmanship. The frame construction makes each composition completely unique and unrepeatable — every detail designed to amaze and to bring people together around the heart of the home.

This isn't a kitchen that blends into the background. It's the room everyone gravitates toward — warm, considered, alive with character. The kind of space that turns cooking into an occasion and every gathering into a memory.

Handcrafted in Verona. Available through New Lifestyle Kitchens & Interiors in Metro Detroit.

Some fixtures light a room. The Trinity by CPRN Homood defines it.

Three suspended elements. Metal and glass, handcrafted in Italy, balanced with the kind of precision that makes the whole piece feel simultaneously architectural and weightless. The name says it all — three points of light, working together, creating something greater than the sum of their parts. The way light moves through the glass — shifting as the day changes, catching warm tones in the evening — means it's never quite the same fixture twice.

This is what CPRN Homood does best: bold, sophisticated statement pieces that carry the full weight of Italian artisan tradition without ever feeling heavy. Each one is handmade to order. Each one entirely its own.

A chandelier like this doesn't just illuminate a space — it becomes the space.

Minimalism at its most refined.
The MOMA Design Boxline collection was built around a single, uncompromising idea: that a bathroom vanity should contain nothing it doesn’t need — and that every surface, every drawer, every door should feel like it was always meant to be exactly where it is.

No handles. No hardware. Just clean, floating cabinetry that opens with the lightest touch — like keys on a piano, each drawer and door responding to even the gentlest press, creating a harmonious flow of movement through the space. Available in matt lacquer, gloss lacquer, metallic lacquer, or a range of stunning wood veneers — natural oak, bleached oak, to***co oak, grey oak, walnut, ebony, and more — the Boxline is as customisable as it is considered.

This is what Italian design looks like when it has nothing to prove.

A door should do more than separate rooms.

The Luna by Res Italia — designed by Massimo Cavana — is a minimal frame glass door system that's been refined over decades to become something genuinely extraordinary. The aluminium frame is reduced to almost nothing, its corners cut at a precise 45° and assembled with hidden brackets so what you see is essentially glass, light, and the quiet architecture of the space around it.

And the glass itself is where it gets interesting. Eleven options — from frosted acid-etched panels to amber, smoke, mirror, and the new ribbed Cannettato glass that plays with light in the most beautiful way — each one creating a completely different mood, a different level of transparency, a different relationship between the rooms it connects.

Available as a swing door, sliding door, or pocket door. Available in matt lacquered finishes — anthracite, nero, tabacco, neve — or special lacquered tones like bronze, gold, and platinum.

This is what Res Italia does: they make the door disappear, so the design can speak.

Some kitchens are beautiful. This one has rhythm. ✦

Introducing Rigoletto by Aran Cucine — now at New Lifestyle Kitchens & Interiors.
Fluted wood-veneer doors that follow the natural grain of the wood, creating a vertical texture that shifts with the light throughout the day. Warm. Architectural. Completely intentional. Rigoletto isn’t just a kitchen — it’s a composition, where every surface and every shadow plays its part.

This is Italian design doing what it does best: turning the everyday into something extraordinary.
