The veterans banners are up on Main Street in Troy. The banner in front of Hechlers Hearth & Home has two banners. Ernie Hechler, son of founder of Hechler Hardware, JJ Hechler. The banner for Albert Shaper was the brother in law for Ernie Hechler. He owned the building for many years that the fireplace store is in now. He ran a Chevrolet dealership in this building know as the Troy Motor Garage. Their slogan was We Repair Chevrolets and FIX Fords!
