With our kids having alpha gal syndrome they can only eat certain things. A loaf (half a loaf in size) of bread they can eat from ALDI is $6!! That’s a no for me dog. I decided I was guna give it a go to make our own bread. 🍞

Growing up my mom had a bread machine and we would make bread all the time! I, however, do not have a bread maker and have to do it the old fashion way. 🤣

Here’s my second attempt at sandwich bread for our kids and sub sandwich bread since they can’t have subway. 🥖

I may be biased but it’s pretty good and not full of preservatives, chemicals, and more.

Took advantage of the stormy nasty weather yesterday and got my seed starters going.

I have red potatoes that are growing beautifully in the gray tote.

I also started strawberries, blueberries, cherries, peaches, and elderberries that I’ll continue to repot indoors as they grow until they are mature enough to go outside. Also, guna start apple trees too. (The deer tore out our apple trees the first year we were here.)

We will attempt to grow the following in our garden this year:
-couple different types of tomatoes
-couple different types of corn
- cantaloupe
-watermelon
-broccoli
-couple different types of lettuce
-couple different types of great beans
-couple different types of pumpkins
-couple different types of cucumbers
-couple different colors of sweet peppers
-habanero peppers

Of course, i might add other things too. 🤭

I’m on the mission to preserve food for our family and reduce our grocery bill!
