Get a behind the scenes tour of this project during Second Story Secrets on Saturday, November 1st!

Once the heart of entertainment in downtown Troy, Mayo Hall was built in 1854 by Henry S. Mayo and could seat nearly 500 guests in its elegant third-floor auditorium — complete with stage, orchestra pit, and balcony. Plays, concerts, and community events filled the hall with life for decades, making it one of Troy’s earliest cultural landmarks. 🎭

Today, the building at 12–16 S. Market Street is undergoing a remarkable transformation. Behind the scaffolding and construction lights, the original brick and framework are being carefully preserved as the space prepares for its next chapter.

Visitors on the Second Story Secrets tour will get a rare look inside mid-renovation, glimpsing the craftsmanship and history that still echo through these walls.
