Each trip I venture off trail DEEPER towards her secluded depths. Gushing waterfalls and pristine campsites are the reward

Improving my woodworking skills has been my primary focus of late and I have already seen a HUGE improvement in consistency and precision!

Sharing knowledge is SUPER important to me, so I’ve listed my four key steps to improve my woodworking skills below.

MY PERSONAL SKILLS DEVELOPMENT PLAN:

1️⃣ Identify my skills goals and watch online content on HOW to perform that task

2️⃣ Create a milling/cut plan for the day, what are the steps?

3️⃣ Use metal measuring tools (picture 2) to improve precision

4️⃣ Create a “Learners Mindset” and commit to the process of growth 🙏🏻

Exploring the depths of woodworking brings a smile to my face! Since 2021 I’ve been building here in Tucson, AZ

I’m a mostly self-taught wood worker that continues to push my learning and development. I’ve only worked under someone’s direct for 4 months, other than that it’s ALL ME!

Pictured here is my fabricating butcher block strips in cherry wood for future end grain cutting boards. I’m a sucker for a pretty board and I’m stoked to begin offering handmade cutting boards for sale!

I’m in LOVE with this GORGEOUS live edge mesquite slab that is currently being transformed into a floating shelf! Such a blessing to create here in our sunny Tucson, AZ shop!

Working with regional live edge wood feels special and heart warming, and I hope that you can see that in my expressions

Mesquite and Juniper are our only regional live edge slabs, each possessing their unique characteristics

Mesquite feels robust and rich

Juniper is softer and warm to the touch

Haven’t worked with mesquite in a while, and it feels great to return ✨🌵

Constantly searching for inspiration in my adventures to feel complete

This 3 day 2 night trip pulled me into the captivating Dragoon Mountains of Southern Arizona. I had begun feeling the message to revisit these extraordinary lands after nearly a year away

The 3 most prominent features of this space are:
1. Towering rock spires
2. Enveloping forests
3. Comforting energy
