Good Life Done Right At Highland Table we specialize in creative comfort foods, unique wines and handcrafted cocktails. But what does creative comfort foods mean though, right?

We are taking inspiration from classic diner/homestyle menu items and updating them with fresh ingredients and a modern spin. And what's really unique for this area, we are striving for our entire menu to be as fresh and minimally processed as possible- no MSG, no HFCS and no hydrogenated oils- but without losing the taste! A few of our notable menu items are our Devil's Eggs, Bacon Wrapped Skille

t Meatloaf, Potato Pies (think Shepard's pie and twice baked potato combined... it's nice) and our Portabella Stroganoff just to name a few... followed by a made-from-scratch Brownie Ice Cream Sandwich or Abita Root Beer Float. Our summer signature drinks are our Pecan Vodka Sweet Tea and we have house made sangria- both red and white-- great for sipping while enjoying the evening on our patio! One of our cooks described Highland Table as "Neighborhood Chic" and I really think it sums us up quite nicely! We've cleaned house, made our favorite foods and are ready for our friends to come over for good food, a cold drink and a great time.

Who else craves comfort foods when it's wet and rainy? Loaded au gratin riced cauliflower for the win❤

Our Story

Hi! My name is Lesleigh Monsey. I have a husband, three kids, and I’m the founder of Kitsch N’ Table. The name Kitsch N’Table is because in our home, everything happens around the kitchen table– not just meals, EVERYTHING! Of course the serious stuff like homework, family meetings, and looking over our monthly budget... Plus the fun little extras that keep life interesting like carving jack o’ lanterns, coffee with friends, and even crowding around to watch the newest YouTube sensation… you know…. the kitsch!

All around me I see so many moms struggling day to day. They spend all their time caring for others and putting out fires! They feel like they’ve lost control of their lives!

I’ve been a jack of all trades on a quest for domestic knowledge my entire life- Shoot, I even majored in Family and Consumer Sciences (aka Home Ec)!
