One thing with growing your own is that there is always a flower gap between May and June when spring flowers are done but summer flowers have not started yet. We are in our 1-2 week of gap. No Bloom Box this weekend.

A Note from The Bloom Box 🌸
To our wonderful neighbors,
We absolutely love having our flower cart, The Bloom Box, out on the street, and the opportunities it creates to engage with our neighbors. That is why we are so saddened to share that our sign was kicked and damaged this afternoon (not sign in picture)

The incident happened at 3:33 PM on SW Sagert Street, between SW 95th and SW 93rd. Our security cameras caught the entire event on video, but we really don't want to share the footage publicly. We love our community and believe in giving people a chance to do the right thing.

The video shows two kids in their early teens riding an electric scooter together without helmets. Both have dark hair. One was wearing a red hoodie with dark pants, and the other was in a beige hoodie with dark pants.

If these are your children, or if their identity is known, please consider having a conversation with them. There is no desire to involve authorities or cause trouble. The hope is that they will come forward privately to apologize and rectify the situation. This can serve as a valuable life lesson, and handling the matter with kindness is the priority.
