“When I first began working with these clients, they asked for a fresh, inviting living room centered around beautiful blue tones. We layered soft shades of blue throughout the space – from the patterned rug and floral pillows to the tailored swivel chairs – to create a sense of calm and continuity. The warm ivory and taupe upholstery keeps the room feeling light and timeless, while the touches of brass add warmth and a subtle touch of elegance.

The two sofas face one another to encourage conversation, while the pair of blue chairs is positioned toward the fireplace, creating a comfortable and welcoming gathering area. Two coordinating coffee tables anchor the seating arrangement and add visual interest without competing with the beautiful rug. The result is a fresh, sophisticated room that feels both polished and comfortable, with blue serving as the unifying color that brings the entire design together.”
