Toews Handcrafted is making moves, and today we put up signs on two new Brookside properties! We’ve already begun working with our talented Architect on one of the homes. We’re excited about the direction it’s going and we’ll have more details for you soon!

Long before this bathroom was ready to finish Kevin had been planning every detail of its design. Every day, every step, any bit of construction on this house- he was there. It was part of our family routine to come by the job site everyday so the girls could see dad work. We all loved watching Kevin hang the shiplap in this bathroom like a big puzzle coming together.

Needless to say, we are in love with how it came out! When families tour the house it is often one of their favorite parts of the first floor. If you haven’t seen it in person you need to! I promise you won’t see another house where even the smallest details in the smallest bathroom are so thought out.

Toews Handcrafted started from a dream in 2013 to start our own high end custom furniture company. From the day of its beginning until now it has always been a family business about creativity, craftsmanship and a quality product. Kevin and I spent countless hours in the garage together while he built and I finished the pieces.

In the beginning it was just tables but now it has become so much more. It’s now 2018 and Kevin has completed his first house from the ground up. We’ve held it to the same standard as every project Kevin has done. This house was truly handcrafted from the framing, the porches, the trim, even the shiplap in the bathroom was hung by Kevin. I have never been more proud of what he has done and we can’t wait for the right family to enjoy and love it as much as we do!

The kitchen and dining areas become central places in the home. Imagine having appetizers with friends at the island, laughing at dinner with your family, and enjoying your meal with a view out the large picture window. This home was designed with entertaining in mind with a beautiful open concept space ready to be filled with people enjoying each other's company!

Also take in that stunning custom Walnut island with a quartz waterfall top. is the best in the business and they have outdone themselves again!

Kevin's back in the shop pumping out furniture since we wrapped the Norfolk home a couple months ago. This is one of my favorite of his designs!

The base is white oak with the most perfect joints you've ever seen. Creating the stunning contrast is the floating Walnut top. Call me biased, but I'm always impressed with Kevin's work & this piece in particular has blown me away!
