🚨 ‼️ 🔔 OFFICIAL DOLLY GUITAR TEA TOWEL WAIT LIST 🔔 ‼️ 🚨

Please comment your name, amount of tea towels (not to exceed 3) and color preference. We will do our best to accommodate depending on inventory at time.

We take pride in the quilts that we use and everyone will receive a quality product in each towel that we send you.

The order will be filled according to the first name received and then working down the list. We are confident this will be a less chaotic way to fill orders.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we are just a two person team doing our best 🩷

You can add your name now!! ⬇️

We are up this morning discussing the outcome of last night’s drop. We appreciate SO MANY OF YOU UNDERSTANDING how insane that drop was. We aren’t sure how this could have worked out any other way just with the sheer volume of people and the lagging responses and pictures.

So we have decided instead of creating a website or more drops, we are committed to filling these orders first and foremost.

We want to start a DOLLY GUITAR WAITLIST and as names are added, that will be the order we go down until we’ve reached the last name.

We know that so many of you want to give these for presents so we are asking that the max you order at this time is no more than 3 towels so that will can fill these orders as quickly as possible.

Also, if you are local, we will make sure Relics Antique Marketplace will have them on hand.

Again, thank you for your understanding and our deepest apologies for that crazy hot mess drop.

We will get through this! 🩷

Comments for this post will be turned off so there is only one post dedicated for tea towels.

***We will work through the list as names appear and go to the post office once a week or as needed to get these out ASAP. ***

We can start this process on September 15th when we get back.

The post will have your name, tea towel number (not to exceed 3) and basic color preference as we will do our best to accommodate based on inventory on hand at the time.

Sooooooo….

That was definitely a much bigger response than we anticipated and I’m pretty sure it tried to crash the system.

All the first SOLD comments have been liked and I will reach out to those people TOMORROW.

I do apologize for the delay in pictures it seems—I think for a following this large, everything was lagging, pictures and responses.

With that being said, we are going to open up SMALL PERSONAL ORDERS EVERY WEEK TO FUFILL THESE DEMANDS!

We are traveling on Sunday, September 6 and will return Monday, September 14. After that, we will start opening up small orders instead of these drops since it was much more chaotic than we ever anticipated.

We have over 1.4 thousands comments on 108 items and truly we never expected this kind of response to our little guitar tea towel.

Good news is, we are HARD WORKERS AND WILL KEEP FILLING ORDERS UNTIL EVERYONE IS SATISFIED.

We do apologize for the massive dumpster fire of a drop. Please stick with us—we will figure this out and everyone will get what they need! 🩷

Also, my inbox is at CAPACITY. Please bare with me as I sort through these orders and can start to respond to your inbox messages.

🚨 ‼️ 🔔 Official Dolly Guitar Post 🔔 ‼️🚨

I am posting the instructions/rules here! ⬇️

1. Each item will have their own picture comment. Reply SOLD, local pickup or shipping and preferred payment information. If you’re planning on local pickup, I can hold your items at Relics Antique Marketplace behind the counter (taxes apply when checking out).

2. Please do not participate if you don’t plan to pay—it affects others and will affect your ability to follow this page or purchase in the future.

3. This drop will close as soon as every item has been commented SOLD.

4. Payments are due in full by tomorrow, Friday September 4th at 6:00 pm CST. This will allow me to get all packages ready to mail out on Saturday morning (9/5) with USPS. I will provide tracking info. For those payments NOT received, your order will be cancelled and items will be placed in Relics or will be held for a future drop.

5. Items are all handmade—please zoom in to each picture to see quality of quilt/materials. This is a large variety of all types and styles of quilts. We mostly work with hand stitched quilts, however, sometimes we do work with machine stitched. There will be a variety, but mostly handstitched. We did not add any highly distressed guitars this drop, but some quilts may have visible signs of wear and discoloration from their age. No Guitar is the same.

6. No returns on any items purchased.

Our Dolly guitars are made in a smoke free, dog friendly home on my Mom’s 1955 Singer sewing machine. Our tea towels are GENERALLY washed, dried, ironed, trimmed and pressed. HOWEVER, due to the delicacy of the butterfly, we do not recommend these be washed or dried and only used for display.

Each tea towel has a quilt guitar, a middle and a 3D butterfly all cut from cutter quilts and pieces. They will have 3 tags attached as well as a pin butterfly attached to the tags. Tea towels are $20 each.

Cutouts include the Guitar, guitar middle (circle piece) and a butterfly. All are raw cut and no piece is sewn. These are intended for DIY purchasers. Each set is $18.

If you order one item, your shipping cost is $8.00. Anything more than one, shipping will be $10.00.

I accept PayPal, Cash App or Venmo. These are the only forms of payment I can accept at this time. Please include your information on your comment so I can put your order together and send you MY payment info.

***Due to the amount of items, I will send you your order to confirm, total price (including shipping) and will send you MY info for you to send payment to me***

All items are first come, first served. There is no limit on how many you can purchase, but we ask you to please be mindful since there are many others who would like to purchase.

FIRST SOLD COMMENT CLAIMS THE ITEM. I will ‘like’ your SOLD comment so that you know you were the first to comment on the picture.

I will post one picture at a time to avoid mass confusion and comments.

***Please do not be discouraged if you don’t get anything tonight—we know 88 tea towels is a drop in the bucket considering the amount of people who want them. So we WILL open orders a few at a time and hold smaller drops to allow more people to purchase***

Thank you for following and supporting us! We are so glad you’re here! 🩷

Taking a small break from making Dolly tea towels to making homemade chocolate chip cookies. 🍪

We’ve been non stop for days in anticipation of our Thursday drop. Looking like we might get just under 100 tea towels! 😵‍💫😅

I know we said we’d do a poll to see the best time for this drop, but I think we will need most of Thursday to finish up any last minute towels!

As a Mama, homework, dinner and sports take up most evenings, so I think for this one, we are going to go for a 7:30 PM CST drop!

I don’t anticipate drops this big in the future, so we can definitely poll the next one! 🩷

Making tea towels and making memories 🫶🏻

🔔 IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO ORDER DOLLY GUITAR INSPIRED TEA TOWELS ONLINE 🔔

‼️ 🚨 PLEASE READ THIS POST 🚨 ‼️

Due to the MASSIVE amount of comments and inbox messages (I do apologize for not reading my inbox messages, but Y’ALL, there are SOOOO many and I am trying my hardest to get these tea towels knocked out!)

I want to address the ***Frequently Asked Questions*** I am seeing in the comments from multiple posts! If I miss anything, please add your question to the comments section of THIS POST and I WILL answer them!

1. Can I order them from you on a website?
No. At this time, we do not have a website established but are working to get one so that we can reach a bigger audience with other pay options.

2. If I private message you my order, will you fill it?
At this time, because of the hundreds of comments and multiple tea towels each person wants, we cannot possibly fill all of these orders through private messages.

3. If you have no website and are not taking orders, how do I get one?
We plan to do MULTIPLE tea towel drops in order to satisfy the demand for tea towels. This is the only way at this time that it will be fair and you will have an opportunity to pick the ones you want.

4. What is a drop? I’ve never done one.
A drop is where I will post specific instructions in a separate post on how to grab the towel you want from my page!
***If you’d like to see an example, I recently did a drop on my page a couple weeks ago and had ALL the instructions provided***

5. What form of payment do you take?
I accept Venmo, PayPal and Cash App.

6. Can I just buy the guitar and the butterfly?
Depending on how much we can get done, I will try to have those available for the drop as well for you to use how you wish.

7. When will I know when the drops are?
Follow my page—I will give a heads up on date and time of drop.

8. I work during the day/night—how can I have a chance to get a towel?
I plan to establish a poll in which I will ask if certain hours of the day are best to give people the best chance of getting a towel. We will stick with that time for all of our drops.

9. How many drops will there be?
We will do as many as we can as long as there is a demand. These drops may be different numbers each time. I have a family, job and life responsibilities. We will do our best to get as much out each drop.

10. When will the first drop be? And are there limits to how many I can claim?
Our first drop will be Thursday, September 3rd. We are working FURIOUSLY to have 100 tea towels up for grabs. There are no limits to how many you can claim, however, we ask that you be mindful that there are many, many people wanting them.

11. How do I know if I got the item first?
Until we can figure out a better system, I will screen shot all of the comments to make sure the first person to comment gets the towel.

12. What is my cost for this?
Each tea towel is $20.00. If you purchase one tea towel, your shipping is $8. If you purchase 2 or more, your shipping cost is $10. In many, MANY cases, shipping is more and comes out of my pocket, but we just aren’t set up with shipping from my home just yet to know exact cost.

13. How will I know if you’ve sent my order?
You will receive a picture of your order to ensure it’s correct and I will send you tracking from my receipt from USPS.

14. Eventually will you take custom orders?
Right now we are not in a position to take custom orders. As soon as we are, I’ll let you know how many I can take at one time.

15. Will you eventually open my inbox message I sent you?
I honestly don’t know. There’s over 100 messages and this just seems to be the easiest way to correspond with everyone. If there is something in my inbox that is separate from this and you really need me to open it, please let me know 🩷

16. Can you put the guitar and butterfly on something other than a tea towel?
Right now, we are only offering tea towels.

17. Can you sell your pattern?
All of our patterns for EVERYTHING we make are free handed as we do not use printed templates. So the designs you see on our tea towels are created only by us.

**If you can be patient with us as we are a two person team—I do all the cutting and Mom does all the sewing. Please understand it’s a process to get them all finished in a timely manner. We will get out as many tea towels as we possibly can!**

🩷 If I am missing anything, please let me know!! 🩷

Good morning. Today is a new day and I have a few things I’d like to address 🩷

First and foremost, thank you for everyone who has stood with us and up for us—friends, family and our strong customer base. I see your messages, comments and personal phone texts. Thank you 🙏🏻

Also, my inbox is FLOODED. And I have to apologize that I just can’t possibly keep up with the messages. We have custom orders this week that we are wrapping up and I’ve had to prioritize those customers at the moment.

Now. For the fun part.

After spending most of yesterday in tears (both Mom and me), we have had some time to think about all of your comments—and while we don’t owe anyone any transparency, I feel in my soul people should know what’s on my heart.

We have built (what I would consider) a semi successful small business. We have worked hard to get to where we are today. We started with whatever scraps people would give us just to get started. Now, we buy what WE want to buy. We pick beautiful pieces that speak to the style of our crafts and we make them for YOU to treasure. Also, have you seen what a cutter quilt or cutter pieces cost these days? Long gone are the days of a $10 cutter quilt.

Now, because we do this because we love this, we charge what I believe to be reasonable for the amount of work and cost of supplies. We also live in a small town and our prices reflect that rather than what we might be able to make if we were in a bigger city.

These Dolly tea towels will be $20.00. Let me tell you where that $20.00 gets spent:

Tea towels
Quilt
Supplies for a vintage sewing machine
Supplies to cut, sew, glue, etc so that our crafts don’t fall apart
Special add ons like, tags, ribbons and pins
Shipping supplies to mail to anyone online
Sorting and packing orders
Gas to the post office
A fee to use Venmo, PayPal or Cash App if you choose to not send family and friends (which, I get it. We don’t know each other and you deserve to protect yourself).
Which leaves the small, VERY SMALL, profit margin for our time away from other things to accomplish all of this—to be split between two women—who do every bit of the work ourselves. Each piece is cut, pinned, sewn, trimmed and tagged by our hands.

We believe $20.00 is a FAIR, honest price so that anyone who wants one can have one. Had we decided to charge $40—we would certainly donate half to charity. This would have limited the number of people who could get one and we KNOW how special these are and we want EVERYONE to have one if they choose.

I would love to see the same tenacity put towards BIG businesses—the ones who pay hundreds of people on their payroll, who make millions and multimillions a year who can most certainly dig deep in their pockets for a good cause.

What will happen to the remaining profits?

We are taking a family trip to Washington to see my grandmother who is 96 and in a wheelchair and will likely be the last time I see her and the last remaining memory of her for my small children. That small remaining money will go towards making it a beautiful and memorable trip for my family.

Now, after reading all of that, should you choose to still support us, here is all the info everyone is asking for.

Towels will be $20.00 whether they’re sold online or in store. Shipping will be $8 for one towel and $10 for anything 2+ and will be added onto your order.
We are aiming to have 100 tea towels ready for an online drop this coming Thursday, September 3rd. We will conduct a poll to see the best time to hold the drop so that everyone gets the best chance to get a towel.

We will likely do small drops every couple of weeks until we have satisfied all orders without neglecting our booths and other items we do this time of year. So, be watching if you don’t get one on this first drop.

If you aren’t familiar with a drop, I will post instructions on how it works and it should answer any of your questions. You can also scroll this page down to see what a drop looks like if you want to see.

We are ACTIVELY looking for a website or platform so that we can take this online, but right now, this is the best we can do before we get that up and running.

As always, we appreciate our loyal customers—without you, we couldn’t do what we love. So we thank you and appreciate your support! 🩷

Find something to do today to make someone smile!
