This is the official BID TO WIN CROSS BLOCK.

Here are the rules and info!

STARTING BID: $50 USD
Please bid in $1 increments!

1. I am posting pictures of the block in all forms so that you’ll be able to know the condition and quality of the block.
2. Please do not bid if you do not plan to pay. This is unfair to other bidders and could affect your ability to follow this page or bid in the future.
3. The frame is NOT INCLUDED and is only pictured to show what it looks like framed.
4. I will ship through USPS tomorrow morning anywhere in the United States.
5. $10 will be added onto the final bid for shipping costs.
6. If there are bids still coming in at 6:00 pm CST, I will extend the time by 5 minutes for any last bids. Cut off time will be 6:05 ON THE DOT.

I accept Venmo, PayPal and Cash App for payment options. Payment must be made before midnight tonight, otherwise, it will go to the next highest bidder.

Here is the info on this particular quilt block:

This quilt came from California and is a Double Windmill Quilt. It is hand stitched and vintage although the exact age is unknown. This is our first instance we have seen this particular pattern quilt. This piece is 18.25x18 inches and will need slight trimming for an 18x18 frame if you’d like it to fit perfectly. It is in near perfect condition, however, there is a very small spot I have pointed to in a picture to show a very small stain to the left of the cross. No other visible stains can be seen. This is the 2nd of 3 blocks we have available to bid on and unfortunately have had no success finding another quilt like it!

I will turn the comments on at 12:00 pm CST.

A customer sent us this super cute way to display her pumpkin tea towel! 😍

For those of us who are afraid to hang them on the stove to fall prey to dirty hands and to be used as a napkin (haha, HUSBANDS, looking at you! 👀 ), I love this option!!

She is hanging hers on a vintage hanger (some sources say pictures/clothes) depending on where you read it.

I am hoping to get some to offer for sale when we get our Shopify account up and running!

We will do 3️⃣ BIDS TO WIN on these Double Windmill Cross Blocks—one at a time so you can bid on the one you want and there is no confusion.

This block pictured will be MONDAY, OCTOBER 19th.

Second block will be WEDNESDAY, October 21st.

Third block will be FRIDAY, October 23rd.

Bidding will open at 12:00 pm CST and will close the SECOND it turns 6:00 pm CST same day.

You will bid on the actual BID POST.

You can bid as many times as you want.

Frame will not be included.

Blocks will be mailed by USPS in a large bag. $10 shipping charge will be added to the highest bid.

Pictures of each cross block will be posted day of bid and will have any noticeable flaws pictured.

These are old, vintage, hand-sewn quilt blocks and I cannot guarantee that they will be completely flawless.

Payment must be made by midnight of the day of bidding, otherwise it will go to the next highest bidder. I accept Cash App, PayPal and Venmo.
