From refreshed brick tones and architectural refinements to a reimagined outdoor living space overlooking Lake Tuscaloosa, every decision was made to enhance the home’s character—not erase it.

This is what dreams are made of (and a lot of hard work!). This living room renovation is finished, and I think we’re still in awe. Not every home needs to be an open concept, however we didn’t have much space to work with and it clearly allows more functionality and sense to the space. We started with a vision to remove the gawd awful fireplace dividing the living room and kitchen (more kitchen photos to come), while keeping the home’s charm. The process was a delicate dance of support beams and restoring century-old features while weaving in modern comforts. The result is a timeless, functional space the homeowners are loving living in.

First impressions are everything... Swipe to see where we started! This historic foyer went from forgotten to fabulous and I couldn’t be happier with the result. Even though the main undertaking here in this space was paint and lighting, look at what a difference a little TLC can make! What’s your favorite part of this before and after transformation?⁣

We aren’t fully completed but I cannot wait to show this beauty off! Just a few blocks from Bryant Denny Stadium is this super cute historic home that anyone would be so lucky to stay in! I can’t wait to show this baby off! Stay tuned!

Darker woods are continuing to gain popularity into 2024, reminiscent of a more vintage, whats-old -is -new vibe. It adds warmth and a cozy feel, complimenting any design style. If you have a very light space, just add a few decorative pieces or furnishings like side tables to mix it up!

This month AD featured the home of Chrissy Teagan and John Legend. The whole home is made to feel inviting and comfortable. A place to watch their guilty pleasures on tv (Bravos RHW of EVERYWHERE ),enjoy cooking and hosting friends. They chose a warm neutral palette and let the different textures speak for themselves! And just like Chrissy there are plenty of curves - everywhere from the sofas to the tables and chairs. All of it is beautiful, personalized and curated to perfection! What do you think?
