⭐️ Last Call for orders!!⭐️

As promised, we’re giving you a heads up that our shop will be temporarily closing its doors for the month of Feb and half of March.

All orders placed by January 28th will ship before we head out. Anything that comes in after that will ship in the order that we receive once we return between the dates of March 18th - April 1st.

If you missed our post regarding this, Jeff and I are taking some time off to restore balance in our lives. This is the first of many shop breaks we’ll be doing going forward.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and support and we look forward to making you beautiful products when our shop is back open!

And for those wondering we’re headed to the desert (AZ) to ride our mountain bikes and to soak up some sun!☀️

Burrrrr it’s cold in here! (“There must be some Toros in the atmosphere”) IYKYK

Just kidding though, we have the shop thermostat set to 65 so it’s not technically freezing but the chill of the -5 walking from the car to inside hasn’t left my body yet.

Remembering back to when our shop was on our property in an uninsulated garage with just a wood burning stove and we literally had to work bundled up like this. Sometimes the cold would trip our saw and our production would be halted until it warmed up enough to run again.

So yah, feeling grateful for our warm shop right about now.

Meet our intern Sage! An interest in working with her hands brought her to us through the local high school internship program a couple months ago.

It’s been so fun having her in the shop and watching her catch on quickly to the tasks at hand.

Next week she’ll be helping with our Instagram for a day so stay tuned for a cool view of our shop through Sages perspective.

Oh and shop dog Tod is obsessed with her. 🐶❤️

About the Makers

Perched along a hillside in the small community of the Methow Valley in WA State, the two of us a husband and wife team work side by side creating beautifully crafted functional home décor. Oh and of course our pups Marley and Tod are there with us to supervise… It wasn’t always our plan to become woodworkers and we’ve both had other paths in life, but sometimes the path changes and you just have to follow it. The name Sawtooth Ridge Woodworks was born out of the incredible view we’re fortunate enough to peer out at right from our shop door. Sweeping views of the Sawtooth Wilderness towering over us all the way down to the valley floor where the Methow River runs fiercely past us. We are constantly inspired by our surroundings. Continuously evolving as people, partners and as makers, we’re always looking to improve and fine tune our skill. We never ship out an item we wouldn’t want to receive and have a deep sense of gratitude to all our customers new and returning…We wouldn’t be able to pursue this passion without your support.
