Creative Hearts Decor

One of my HeARTs desires is to reach people with Disabilities and help them feel empowered and encouraged through Creative expression. I am a single Mom and Grandmother, who lives alone in Tyler, Texas. In 2008 I was Disabled, which led to many years of feeling that I no longer had anything worth while to give to my community. But I was lucky enough to find a group of people on Facebook that taugh

t me how to paint. But painting was not all that I learned. With that groups help and encouragement, I was able to start living again with a purpose. They helped me be empowered and I felt worth something again. This group, and myself, teach “Community Over Competition”. Which means that everything that I have learned to help me be successful, I will pass on to you, so that you to can feel empowered and successful. This page also encourages our members to support each other whether that is, asking for prayer for you or a loved one that is in need. Sharing progress and encourage others through your painting advice, Happy Mail (little cards, or gifts, we send to our fellow members as encouragement) or just plain friendship post that I hope develop in our community. I encourage you to POST on my page with positive post, whether its about painting, or just some news you would like to share with everyone. What in NOT ALLOWED, is negativity in any way, NO putting down other people or their ideas, NO HATE and no spammers. Yes, I am a Christian, and I am not ashamed to tell others. You don’t need to be afraid either. As Christians we think we have to be up and perfect all the time. But I’ll be honest, I’m not there yet. Yes one day, as I daily strive, I hope to be at that place that I am so like Christ that people automatically see Him in me, and ALL of my days will be full of joy.
