Warehouse & Service Manager
Hagen’s Lighting – Tyler, Texas
Full-Time Position
Hagen’s Lighting is looking for a dependable, highly organized Warehouse & Service Manager to oversee our warehouse operations and assist customers with product service and troubleshooting.
This is an important position within our company. The right person will take ownership of keeping our warehouse organized and running efficiently while also providing excellent service to customers when they experience an issue with a product purchased from us.
We are looking for someone who is organized, responsible, mechanically inclined, and good with people. Lighting experience is not required—we can teach you our products—but you must be willing to learn and be comfortable troubleshooting problems.
Responsibilities
Warehouse & Shipping/Receiving
* Manage the day-to-day operation and organization of the warehouse
* Receive incoming shipments and verify products for accuracy and condition
* Properly label, organize, and store merchandise
* Prepare and stage customer and builder orders for pickup or delivery
* Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient warehouse
* Help track products, parts, returns, and damaged merchandise
* Coordinate with our sales team to ensure orders are complete and ready when promised
* Handle shipping, receiving, returns, and vendor-related product issues
* Take ownership of warehouse organization and continually look for ways to improve efficiency
Customer Service & Product Troubleshooting
* Assist customers who experience problems with lighting fixtures, ceiling fans, or other products purchased from Hagen’s Lighting
* Listen to customers, identify the problem, and work toward a practical solution
* Troubleshoot product issues and determine whether replacement parts, warranty assistance, or other service is needed
* Communicate with manufacturers and vendors regarding warranty claims, replacement parts, and technical questions
* Keep customers informed throughout the service process
* Maintain organized records of open service issues and follow through until they are resolved
* Provide friendly, professional service—even when dealing with frustrated customers

The right person for this position will be:
* Extremely organized and able to keep track of multiple orders, products, parts, and service issues
* Dependable and willing to take ownership of their responsibilities
* Friendly, patient, and professional with customers
* A good problem solver who enjoys figuring out how things work
* Mechanically inclined and comfortable troubleshooting products
* Detail-oriented and able to catch mistakes before they become problems
* Able to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, builders, and vendors
* Comfortable working independently and making decisions
* Willing to learn about lighting, ceiling fans, controls, and related products
* Able to perform the physical requirements of warehouse work, including regularly lifting and moving boxes and fixtures
Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, electrical, lighting, appliance, HVAC, maintenance, mechanical, or customer-service experience is helpful but not required for the right person.
