Happy birthday to my friend Brinlee!! I loved her idea of painting horses for her party. Just because “The Art Room” is out of commission doesn’t mean the parties have to be. Thank you to Deep South Boutique for letting us use their space. It was a perfect party.

When painting with coffee, we prefer the good stuff like our locally sourced Vantage Coffee Roasters . I am so excited to instruct another coffee painting class but this time I have been working on something really excited.

Yep, Rita and I are still digging out and trying to figure out where everything is over here but just so y’all know, paint brushes and paint have been located. I will get back to painting commissions at least.

Just a little update from The Art Room! 💛

Due to everything surrounding the weather on August 26, our Open Studio day passes and memberships are currently on hold. As soon as we’re in a place to bring them back, you’ll be the first to know right here! Thank you so much for being patient with us and for continuing to support The Art Room.

The last class I held at The Art Room was super fun and a great way to get ready for fall. I love decoupaging anything and these paper mache pumpkins are perfect for fall decor. I may not be able to host parties at The Art Room but I am happy to bring them to you! Still booking, just making it mobile for now.

Today has been a day that will become part of our story. My phone has been blowing up today and I thought this may be the best way to share what is going on at The Art Room.

I will continue to keep everyone posted but wanted to just give a huge thank you to all those that helped me literally move my entire business in a matter of 2 hours. We have the most amazing community. Matthew and Colby Gray, thank you for being the type of building owners you are and jumping in with us, the Chamber, Main Street, the Sheriffs Dept, Deep South Boutique, Anna Graham, Flowers with Sass, The Obion County Fair, Kendrick and Adrian Hardin, my partner in crime Rita and her husband, UCEA, my husband, Zoe and the list keeps going.

I am asking for grace at this time as we figure out what’s next. If nothing else, today has helped me realize the impact and support the Art Room has.
