Meet Emily
Emily is a New Jersey fiber artist who has been creating since she was a young child. She learned to knit and crochet at a young age with her mother and grandmother, though it was not until college that she began to lean into fiber arts. Emily is self-taught at embroidery, a craft she readily learned in her twenties. She has collaborated with her fellow crafters to create unique embellishments and repairs to their clothes, participated in projects to help raise funds for mutual aid fundraisers, and created meaningful gifts for close family and friends. When she is not creating delightful things with string, Emily can be found reading, baking, and spending time with her family, friends, and cat, Cali Gato.
