Hope no one forgot about me 👋

Things have been pretty hectic over here lately, but I just wanted to share another guitar I finished up a little while back.

Two piece Ash body, sprayed Glacier Silver.

Flame maple neck with abalone inlays with a vintage finish.

Alnico pick ups, typical 5 way Stratocaster pickup switch, with an added push/pull k**b in the bottom tone control. This gives you access to the neck/bridge split position. Not a typical strat thing but gives you an additional interesting option.

I really wanted to make the neck the main focus of this build and I think I nailed that pretty well if I do say so myself.

Being a woodworker, you never not have something to do.

My lovely wife has been asking for a shadow box to place some of our wedding items in. She’s been asking since the wedding. Well I’ve managed to slack off enough to be able to turn it in to an early anniversary preset 🤣

Shadow boxes are a great way to display all kinds of items, from signed jerseys to medals/flags of armed service members. If you’re ever in the need for one, I can do a beautiful custom made shadow box for you!

Kicking off Monday with some 🔥

Wrapped up this personal project yesterday. This was by far one of my most challenging projects to date, and I could not be more happy with the outcome. It turned out looking gorgeous, and it sounds AMAZING.

I am no great guitar player by any stretch, I’ve been dabbling off and on for a couple years now in my very limited free time. Mainly learning partial songs, then forgetting what I’ve learned within a couple weeks 🤣 I will say though, out of the few personal guitars I’ve own, and the few I’ve played while shopping, I’ve never heard one with a tone quite like this. A solid walnut body has a very interesting tone than is just warm and clean.

This was so much fun to build, and I highly doubt it will be my last.

Labor of Love 🤘
