We have officially reached over 100 orders off of Etsy!!! 🎉🎉🎉
In celebration, we will be dropping a brand new coin purse design this Saturday at 11:00 AM CT! These little guys have been ridiculously popular and it brings me so much joy to make them. It also makes me so happy to see the checkered design finally making its way back in style. My middle school self loved checkered Vans so I feel a great sense of nostalgia with this pattern 😄 As always, thank you to everyone for your continuous support! Don’t forget to mark your calendars!

Happy Saturday ☀️Mudcloth tote bags will soon be available on my Etsy page! My hope was to create bags that can come with a matching set! So we have keychains, zipper pouches and tote bags that all match! Keep an eye for our shop update.

Did you know that mudcloth holds special meanings and symbolism? Mudcloth is traditionally handmade by Bambara/Bamana people of Mail in West Africa. It has been traditionally used as ritual protection from hunters, a badge of status, and even used to absorb pain and deflect danger during childbirth. This cloth is incredibly special and it feels like an honor to be able to create with it ✂️🧵🪡

🚨New design alert 🚨 Check out our new large mudcloth waxed canvas pouch! This design was previously only available in person at markets, but it has officially been added to our website! This design features a light rust color with white crosses and dots and our tan waxed canvas bottom. Just like all of our other bags, this can also be personalized! ‼️‼️WE ARE BACK‼️‼️
Phew! What a start to the year! Just when I thought things were off to a crazy start, it got even crazier! I was hoping to have bags a lot earlier, but life had different plans. So….in celebration for my 30th birthday, I am thrilled to share that our classic designs and more will be available tomorrow! You can expect to see our small coin pouches, key fobs, classic zipper pouches, and new tote bags. I will also be featuring some BRAND NEW designs that are made from our one-of-a-kind mudcloth! Well… the start of this year was a bit rough 🥴 I, unfortunately, have been recovering from covid and got stuck in California over the holidays….But look how cute this custom order turned out! Should I add it to my inventory???

What a year 2022 was! Mindful Homeware turned a year old and has become something I am so proud of. There were many highs and lows, but I cannot emphasize how grateful I am to all who have supported this dream of mine.

I won’t lie… I definitely shed some tears from discouragement and embarrassment. I sobbed to my best friend after my first craft show was a total flop. But I also got to smile, laugh, and most importantly learn! After the overwhelming success of my last craft show of the year, I can officially say that I cannot wait to see what 2023 has in store. It is my hope to continue to grow my business and explore new designs. Cheers to you and the new year! 🥂
